thanks for bumping this. I hate having to search for it when i need ideas.

Dan what is your interior color? Need a pic or two.
Thanks, I like it too! Interior is black. The car was originally zermat silver, it was repainted (pretty good job from what I can tell so far) in 2003, only 1000 miles on it since. I intend on installing a clearbra very soon. 968 mirrors are also sitting in a box in my house, waiting to be installed.

Here's some more shots, I'll narrate...

1) Momo wheel (Autopower roll bar and yet-to-be-installed Corbeau A4s not visible)

2) Kolken SSK, Momo ****, in-dash MBC, boost gauge, one of those "flip" style head units (haven't heard it yet, still haven't connected the battery!)

3) Empty engine bay, soon to be filled with 2.7L of eVil Note the zermat silver, this is the only place you'll see it. The underside of the hood, the door jambs, and the rear hatch area were all repainted black. Sorry, fuzzy.

4) Stock 951 crank weighs just under 60 lbs.

5) My engine ate the #2 bearing like a starving child in Africa! The kid I bought it from must have driven a few hundred miles with it spun.

6) The money shot. Powerhaus-spec K27/8 7200 trim hair dryer. Dries hair... FAST.

Enjoy.

Dan, make sure you oil up that rod bearing if you plan on re-using it.

good thing you came to Rennlist 420. It appears that the previous owner F-ed up and installed your steering wheel on the wrong side of the console! Nice car. Cheers.

Are you thinking of painting the engine bay while the engine is out? The car looks great please let everyone know once it is running.
