Hi Mike - got it off ebay and spent too much time, effort and money refurbing it! Still not quite perfect but it'll do for now!

Thanks Ellssuu. Agree with ehall; I think your '51 is sweet as well. Nice color and the twists really pop with the whole package. Funny, the car is still called "the black car" and other than the new header panel, it is pretty much the same; only with more go-fast upgrades. New avitar photo today from Road Atlanta last weekend...

BTW, it was originally built by Technodyne in AZ. My buddy in NY bought it and bought it from him. Only 23K mi. since the re-build in '01. Last year I had to call the builder to track down the color when I painted the header and he said "I still kick myself everyday for selling that car!" I promised him he could drive it anytime he visited ATL...as long as I am int he passenger seat!

Mike I paid £70 for the panel, £15 twice to get it media blasted (after a paint ****-up) and about £30 for paint (I'll get it done professionally next time!)

I thought 931 panels wouldn't fit our cars? Did you have to customise it Benny? Nice to see you finally decided on your wheels. Car looks great! By the way, I'm after a set of those clear indicator lenses behind the front wheels. Can you let me know where you got yours please?

Here's a teaser pic of the new headlights and nose panel. Just in test position so not perfect yet.

We're talking about those little orange ones on the side of the car that you can see in my avatar right Olli?
I might try down here if they're just off a Golf?
