the 2nd set of pics look like Zermatt?? Well at least the rear quarter shot.

I like the earlier pics from above on the rack..nice!

And I am jealous of the black interior...I REALLY wish my entire was all black!

Looks tough!

I was just going to say that.
You should hear the guys bitch about trying to take good pics of Vijay Singh, on the golf course. Nothing racial here, it's just that his skin is so dark and he often wears a white visor with a light colored shirt, in BRIGHT sun.

I hate to brag, but yeah, i'm pretty lucky in that regard That photo spot is about a 15 minute walk from my house (Overlook Park, in White Rock NM). To the other direction of me is mountains galore.
The downside is that there isn't much else around here for at least an hour's drive.

LOL! I kinda figured it wasn't just my camera. I guess that's why they invented photoshop...

Heres one of my old ride. It was an 89 with a ton of work done on it. I did the custom headlights with PIAA lights, o-ringed and ported head, bigger turbo, euro driving lights, Kinesis 18 in wheels, 3 in exhaust, door mirrors, Recaro SPG seat, split second fuel tunning in glovebox, intercooler temp gauge, rear seat removed etc etc. Ironically the only digital pic I have was taken by the guy I sold it too, all other pics I have are paper ones that I have in storage.

Thanks, Rick.

In retrospect, I should have bought one from a RL'er vs. one off of the local CL from a guy who wasn't honest about the issues with the car - namely, the front suspension (tie rods, ball joints) and clutch (bad vibration when downshifting into 3rd and 2nd). Granted, I have some receipts for past repairs on the car going back to the day it left the dealership but I failed to get a PPI and ask better questions about the car. But, it is a VERY clean, all-original 951 with ZERO rust and it got me back home to hillbilly and back safely.

For what I paid for the car I could have bought a very nice 951 with mods or the beautiful 944S listed up in Chicago off of RL for my first Porsche.

Lesson learned.

many of can say the same thing!

The PO was a friend of mine and I bought it for a VERY fair price (original paint car) with receipts from the beginning as well. Of course since buying rims/tires, covering and installing sport seats, new turbo, etc., etc. I've doubled my initial cost!

When I see really nice 951's on here with great mods and wixked wheel/tire combos for around $12k (CPR's car comes to mind)....makes me wonder "what if"

Have fun with it and post your progess!!!

Time to put it in the garage for the winter

This pic shows the new intakes for brake-cooling, looks pretty OK as long as your at least 3 feet from the car.....
