That car looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. One of the cleanest looking 944 turbos I've ever seen. Magic
Oh, ps, can anyone tell me where I can get those clear indicator lights that sit back of the front wheels on the side? I am told that they're the same as a VW Golf II. If anyone has a link to a site where I can just buy them I'd appreciate that.
tia.

Graham, really nice 951. Just one addition i would make = 968 door handles
Patrick, if you are not able to find those side indicators from down under, just tell me do you want normal lights or led version, i can send you a pair. Yes they are Golf II (Also other same perioid VW's). Also Audi 80/100/200 hade them.

Wow, this is one beautiful car.

+1 on the 968 doorhandles, shop around prices differ quite a bit.

Graham, that car looks incredible!

As for the 968 door handles. I bought mine two weeks ago as a kit from a dealer for $199 but I sure you can get better pricing where you are.

Graham...you're muffler's dirty!

Where did you source the clear lenzes for the rear lights?

Thanks Olli. I'll just grab some from the ebay link. Too easy.

Thanks for all the appreciative posts!

I did think about putting 968 handles on it, but I do quite like the Porsche scripted ones it already has. Might swap them sometime soon though - we'll see.

LOL - if I'd known you would be so picky I'd have washed the car first! There is also some carbon splatter on the bumper around the exhaust - all just shows it gets used!

I bought them from a guy called Richard Marsden who is (or was) on the Titanic Forum in the UK. In fact I think they were the first pair he made.

Here is a link to the site he subsequently set up - I think he still sells them from here but I'm not certain. They are good quality if he still makes them.

What are these rims? Are they early offset?
Unfortunately there are is no branding on the wheels so I don't know what make they are I'm afraid. I can tell you they are 8.5 and 9.5x18 and ET52 front and back.

So the 931` panel will fit after mods? what kind of mods?
Briefly, the main mods are required to clear part of the pop-up light assembly behind, and some of the intake to the radiator (which I simply just took some of the plastic away). I did a combination of removing some of the assembly and taking away some of the metal which the plastic grills clip into. In addition to this, the curvature at the front lip of the 931 panel is much shallower than the 951 panel. So there is a smallish gap between the rear edge of the bumper and the leading edge of the panel. I used a tip from Rick Cannell to get around this and cut a piece of plastic to sit on top of the bumper and extend back behind the 931 panel.

This image shows the problem with the metal grill attachments clashing with the pop-up light assembly...

...and this image shows the difference in curvature and the plastic spacer..
