Fixed the clutch before putting it on BaT.

Love the color. I may be there at the end.

owner placed this on FB. Open to any questions. Would be a cool car if the price was far.

Cost. ANSA made a very affordable direct bolt-on replacement muffler for the early cars, but as you can see the tips didn't exit the same. Back in the 90's they were easy to find in various aftermarket catalogs. Tended to rust out quickly.

Correct. 2 of my OBs have them. I would either switch them to originals ($$$) or change them to Borla cat-back that looks and sounds much better than ANSA exhausts

Supposedly 27k miles.
Dash definitely appears re-covered.
@Hoi, it's in Wilmington

That weinrot presents very well. Go for it Hoi! Certainly if it is anywhere in the neighborhood of $6 or $7K, it's a great grab.

do you mean $16-17k? It’s already over $10k.

met the guy when he came over interested in my black 84 car last year. Nice to see he fixed the dash. Ac doesn’t work and sunroof may still need some work. It’s probably less than 15 min from my house. His law firm is in Boothwyn.

Yikes Hoi, that jumped fast! IDK about $17K. I'll have to look more closely at it. It appeared to me to be a respray, which is not a negative unless done badly. But pictures never are reliable for judging that metric. I'd need to see it with my own eyes.

Bill V saw it in person and stated that the respray was done very well years ago. Interior was pretty good, not perfect.

It looks good aside from some overspray on the rear lower control arms. Easy fix.

I saw this car for sale when in Maine, Hoi was interested and asked my opinion..prior to any updates or repairs by BAT seller...see below..

Owner and his dad have a collection of cars that they are starting to sell, as they are selling the store and garage where they have stored the collection. The 928 Euro is very original. Only a repaint as been done by previous owner. Looks good, but the car was not taken apart as there is overspray where windows, bumper covers etc were not taped well. Owner said car was bought from his fathers electrician when he passed some years ago. Hadn’t been driven last couple years, this past summer seller put new fuel pump, filter, air filter (which was upsidedown, I fixed it for him) rotor, plug wires. Car starts right up, but idles low after warm up, some valve knock probably due to low oil pressure due to low idle. Goes right away when idle picks up with gas. Interior very original with small crack between openinings on dash and one crack on pod. Alpine stereo no original radio. Tires old. Looked at TB thru air intake hole and seems to be slightly forward on the cam gears, needs TB/WP . Original door cards and speakers, seats are gray fabric, very nice. All tools in the rear along with safety reflector. No cargo net or hatch cover. New rear hatch shocks installed. No rust that I could see.

WOW, it is at 35K. That’s more than I figured for an 81. I would have go see it as well.

I was thinking the same thing. This is not too far from me. If anyone is serious about it send me a PM and I'll see if I can get out to look at it.
