I don't think a car with a asking price anywhere near $100K needs to be "saved". It was bid to $102k on BaT and I find it hard to believe that the extra $3k was really the deal breaker, but what do I know. I think the color combination (or lack thereof) is what hurts that particular car.

It definitely doesn't need saving. I think the GTS is beautiful the way it is!

BAT bid to $102k + $5k buyers fee.

I thought hard about bidding on that car. What stopped me were Greg Brown's warnings about GTS parts unavailability, and the seller's report that the leakdown test showed leaking past piston rings. I also wasn't crazy about the color combo and the exhaust character.

I don't like the idea of paying $100K for a car that needs an engine rebuild

1985 Porsche 928S3 Automatic - $12,700
Flemington, New Jersey

Now offered for sale is my Weiss Gold 1985 Porsche 928S3 Automatic, a documented Colorado Barn Find I purchased in 2020 as a COVID project. I documented all of the repairs and upgrades in over one hundred videos on my YouTube channel @GuysWithRides1.
Better known as "Project Risky Business," over that time, I've transformed the car into a reliable driver-quality example ready for a new caretaker to take it to the next level.

The complete details, more pictures, and link to the 100-video playlist documenting the car's restoration to this point can be found on my website:https://www.guyswithrides.com/2022/1...orsche-928s-2/

Thank you for looking!

That's correct. It's so nice. Is he working anymore? I thought he used to have a website but I can't find it anymore.

Yes but his work quality lives on with Brian Wassinger, (Olmann here on r-list) who bought Paul's business and is turning out the same level of work.

Well there ya go. I've obviously been away from the forum for a while. I'm gonna need to look Brian up then.
