928s for Sale
Thanks!
Jacktomaten bought a beautiful 928 and if you look at what he said, it was that X38 GTS's seem to sit lower at both the front and back. He did not say anything about other cars ride heights being wrong.
Right or wrong, he is to be congratulated on an excellent purchase and welcomed aboard!
My GTS is an "Exhibition" model and it sits a bit too low. Nothing in its extensive service records to explain the lowering. Most likely scenario is that someone did it and did not include the record, but since Porsche did use some of these cars for display at auto shows it may have been performed by Porsche? One thing is for sure, that "Exclusive Department" did many unique modifications to 928's. .
Enjoy your car! Its a beauty!

Picked up my beauty today and had a wonderful 600km drive back home. The car is lowered with some kind of extra sporty bilstein struts/dampers some time in the 90s. Rides really low and stiff. I’m just in the progress of trying to set the ride height right.

1982 Porsche 928S Eurospec. This is one of 141 Jubilee cars that Porsche produced for their 50th Anniversary (confirmed via VIN). Will need a complete restoration/rebuild. Currently not running - last runningin Nov 2022. Make me an offer. Will not respond to "is this still available". Will not hold.
That‘s a lot of work, Interieur shot and body work and paint job. Technical the engine bay looks also rough.
3000 €, I think it‘s more in parts car territory.

My '88 S4 for sale
i guys; posted my car on the RL Marketplace but I'm linking it here for ease of finding it.

This is a sweet car but it no longer fits what I bought it for which was driving season work/commuting as I am now retired. I have listed all the maintenance that I have done to this car on the ad. My goal was to make it a reliable, no hassles highway cruiser, which it is.

Some of the highlights are:
- JDS Porsche rebuilt LH computer
- Complete and thorough "intake refresh", including new injectors, knock, Hall and position sensors, Greg Brown's fuel hoses, Bosch fuel pressure regulators and damper and every mystery hose within 24 inches of that area.
- Complete timing belt and water pump service.
- Silicone oil pan seal and stud kit. NO more leaks.
- A looong list of the many niggles (some of them not so minor): From the LCD clock and Blaupunkt Reno repairs to the "Jules Verne" ventilation vacuum actuators and solenoids to the false low coolant warnings and defogger module killing your battery overnight; but oh so much more I won't list here lest I put everyone to sleep --read the ad. It's *all* done for the next person.

Hi all, hope it is ok to post here. Not mine but came up in my saved search (I have a problem, I know...) - Looks like a Weissach (#53) in rescue state for sale @ $9,500 OBO. https://www.ebay.com/itm/204401167584 No idea how it got that crease in the roof.

Thank you to this great community (including Nate -may his soul rest in peace-) for all the invaluable assistance and support over the last 5 years. The expertise here is enormous; I am positive that without this group there would only be a fraction of viable, let alone great, 928s out and about.
