this car has not gotten much attention so far. guess we will see how it ends.
this car has one big thing going for it and multiple things against. it's an '85 S - that's great, but the interior is very worn, way too many speakers scattered about, accident report, very poorly upholstered seats, dash crack, and i haven't even gotten into the mechanicals yet. if the price stays low, someone might consider a comprehensive restoration or at least bring it back to something quite presentable. the future expenses are just too high for it to bring much on purchase, imo.

Then there’s the primer that’s showing through in the door jams, a la Earl Sheib (pics 92 and 96 for example). That’s very telling when it comes to the quality of the paint….. and that’s what it looks like in the pictures. I can imagine what it looks like in real life.
Very nice car, but I'm a spoiler guy. To me, without front and rear spoilers they just look old. With the OEM front spoiler and some type of rear spoiler, they look classic, but sportier & cooler. To each their own.
Pete,
I think an OB is looking like a classy woman with a little bit to much lbs on the hips but with the S spoilers aka high heels 👠 she is the femme fatale everybody raise his head after!
Same with wheel spacers on the back, that‘s the Spanx undies!

Cars are a lot.like women in that everyone has different tastes in what they like - no bad choices when it comes to 928 ladies.
Everything works (the toolkit is complete, and I have a portable Porsche air compressor)
It's due to replace the fluids, and, I have the filter and oil....so I can put that in. I'd also replace the wiper blades (I rarely drive in the rain, so it didn't bother me).
A/C works fine, but the climate control is not effective. I suspect the vacuum diaphragm actuators need help, but I've never opened it up.
Bearing on the rear A/C evaporator blower is a little noisy. It's not squealing, but it lets you know it's there.
Everything is stock, but the factory radio has been updated to a Blaupunkt Bremen MP78, which is a DIN-sized head unit / amplifier with CD player, memory card reader, and bluetooth. Original radio will come with it.
More pictures available.
Offered at $80,000. I can be reached via private message here.
Aventurine Green! engine. crack in the plastic coating on the intake manifold option codes
Is this ^^ not going to go quickly at that price???
EDIT: (I read 4 speed and jumped to the manual conclusion. My bad, but still looks to be a very nice car)
That car on Pcar was originally a Petrol blue 5-speed. It's an early US market car but its production number is 1281136. Lots of Euros built before they got back to US production in December.
Bummer on the Opal metallic car, 911r put a ton of work into that car for the auction. I think the suboptimal match on the front seats and the separated leather seam did not help matters. The rest of the car is so nice!
