928s for Sale
#9992
Kind of a bummer day (that I have been putting off) but it is time for my 928 to move on to a new owner for them to enjoy. I recently bought a race car and have a teenager driver that is now taking up an additional parking spot in my driveway. My HOA doesn't allow on street parking and the 928 isn't getting parked outside so something has to go. I have really enjoyed the car. It's posted it here on Rennlist and on a few Facebook groups. If it doesn't sell privately I will be posting it to Bringatrailer soon.

Haven't seen this one here, thinking about a fall/winter project. No history, no documents, no explanation for rebuilt title. Thoughts? Rare enough to take a punt?
Engine code and number M28/12 8205546
VIN 92A0821346
1980 928
Thanks for any input!

If it's an 80 Euro S with 300 hp, shouldn't it have the twin distributors..?

The 1995 GTS 5-speed with buyers premium sold for $452,550... A new record for a GTS.
Premium was 12% on the first $250,000 and 10% on the balance of $156,500 plus the registration fee.
I chased, but did not catch... BOOM!
Gorgeous car!

What’s the history of that GTS? That amount is way beyond the norm. Who owned it?

Will be interesting to watch this one. I owned this GTS twice for a total of ~12 years. Sold it last in 2012 with 13k miles and it was exported to Germany for a couple years then back in Atlanta a couple years later where it was last for sale at $189k and sold in a week. If it's in the same condition it was when I last sold it, this GTS might be one of the nicest in the world. Needs the correct wheels tho... Japanese rear flares are glued on and can be removed, no holes in the original bodywork.
Chuck Z owned this GTS twice.
Can't say before or after him.
Maybe Chuck knows... ?
I guess that's where the market is now for prestine low miles 1995 5 speed GTS...

Thanks Bertrand. Awesome that was Chuck’s car. A new record for sure. Still an eye popping result

Need some feedback from across the pond. I have the opportunity to look at a '92 GTS manual here in Sweden (Swedish sold, EU spec) on Friday, off market. Done 50K klm with full history, Amazon green with full white/cream extended leather (incl. air vents etc), Amazon green wheels from factory, Exclusive build - only two in the world in this spec and Porsche museum has the other. It has some small stone chips and a carpark dent, but otherwise seems in good condition.
I know US values are a bit different, and that black GTS above selling quite high at auction was very low miles, but what do you guys think the value should be around, in either USD or Euro? It is a bit of a unicorn, with a 'love it/hate it' interior, so I am stuck with where it should be. Thanks!
