Default 1991 Porsche 928 S4 $25,000 Sale Pending

1991 Porsche 928 S4

Putting my baby up for sale. Car came from Nevada a few years back. Paint was in dreadful shape as was the interior. Pulled the engine for a complete refresh. New everything. Head gaskets, OPG, seals, waterpump, rebuilt tensioner.

Powdercoated the manifold and cam covers silver vein. Replaced the dash and seats. Added Cup mirrors and had the rear wing coated in fiberglass and had painted to match the car.

I took all of it apart for paint (see the pictures - see pictures on FB or craigslist), deleted the rub strips (holes welded - see pictures on FB or craigslist). Every body seal was replaced, new door sills, roof top antenna. Sun roof seals. If it came off for paint it went into the trash to be replaced. New hood foam (OEM) and new windshield, windshield washer plumbing and spray nozzles. No expense was spared. New front spoiler.

Needs nothing. AC blows cold, all the vacuum pods are new, rebuilt HVAC head.

Fresh Boge shocks, steering rack with delrin bushings.

Crank end play checked! No TBF issue.

Custom belly pan with removable panel for oil changes - my own design.

I'm sure there are things I forgot.

Like second place in PCA Concours.

Kevin: What is the diff between "cup mirrors" and GTS mirrors, which what they look like to me?
This car looks waay nicer, maintenance and all, than the '88 that went for $20K on BAT this week.

First, thanks for the compliments.

Cup mirrors were featured on 93-95 GTS's. Distinction without a difference,

I never heard them called cup mirrors before. The 964's and 993's call them Aero mirrors vs the flag mirrors. All Porsche's got them in 1992 the 964 turbo got them in 1991.

Interesting car. I like it. It looks like a Japanese spec car too.

Rare one here. 4th (I believe) US production '95 GTS, 5-speed, no rubbies. 1 of 30 or so '95 5-speeds? Nice!

Eloutfi, why don't you just buy the one in the picture?

PM docmirror. He acquired an '89 GT (best of the lot) last year with the intent to restore and sell IIRC.

That one sold for $34,000. I'm looking for something like that. If anybody knows one that's up for sale let me know.
