The Wimbledon GTS is stunning in person. As far as the car at Top Gear I can swing by and check it out if anyone is interested. They are located about 6 miles from my home. Although if it sells for asking I need to up my agreed insurance value on my 93. Although why does this look more like Amazon green to me.
The 94 on BaT was sold to Michael Strahan. Very nice and educated buyer. I saw the car up at Paul Miller Porsche having work done and it was a relatively clean car albeit not as clean as mine and IMO sold for less than it was worth.
^^^ Maybe $70-75k (Jason strahans BaT ‘94 GTS being used as a comp)
This car has a cracked dash and butchered radio surround and missing radio. Not confident that the previous owners really took care of it.

Actually I am willing to bet that the rest of the paint is generally trashed on this. If that's the most shine they can get with those bright lights and a case of slick spray detailer, imagine how bad it looks outside in natural light.

New pictures look great but still no undercarriage or engine bay pics. They really need to be added to your listing.02 GLWTS and yes...she's a beauty. T

The reason that the paint job on this car looks so weird is that many of the photos have been edited (a feeble attempt to enhance and improve) with Photoshop. One pic in particular is a really poor job of a applying a blur filter to the hood. I guess he went on break before he finished up the d.s. fender. That should make anyone take pause when considering a car represented by this company.

And now, for something completely different...
Hopefully not a repost - this was enroute for me, so I checked it out - no affiliation:
79 non-sunroof 5-speed - Tampa Craigslist
Summary of the bad:
Car not in sellers name, though in his possesion four years.
Engine not put together enough to turn over.
Steering rack is out for repair.
In primer for at least four years.
Right front fender not mounted.
Right side of front bumper is not mounted.
Holes from added (missing) front S spoiler
Holes from added (missing) non-S rear wing.
None of the seats are mounted in the car.
Slight crack on center console trim (looks fixable).
Only one red key and it only works in ignition (not the doors and not the rear hatch - didnt try gas cap).
The good:
All four phone dials have a nice polish to them.
Body looks straight.
Not sure if never had rub strips as current caretaker said it came to him in primer.
Original color looks to be a bright deep blue (Minerva Blue?).
Cloth seat inserts look mostly intact but dont know if original.
Non-sunroof interior trim looked intact.
Rear interior quarters minimally warped considering the rest of the car.
Non-sunroof.
5-speed.

That's rough. Really rough. I'm not sure it's worth half the asking price; especially considering the difficulty of getting the odd parts for the early cars.
No A/C? In FLORDIDA?
The interior might be minimally warped because it has fiberglass interior quarters. It seems a lot of the early cars did.
