I'm going to email the guy about this car. I'm curious about shipping. It's a good looking car, those are easy fixes. But boy does that poor baby need a home. It's been bounced around every few years getting sold at auction. So for some reason it's either being traded in, or sitting at different dealer lots. I'm curious how low they will go...
I call on all yellow 928's. Only found one original Talbot Yellow (Porsche Documented,'78 5 spd.) in all my travels, calls and emails over the last 5 years, which I of course bought. I called on this one when last for sale, not original yellow :-(
Here, here. I am sick and tired of red 928s, although I have one myself. I would have loved a yellow or light blue single stage paint on a GT. Good thing I didn't wait to find one though, because there are practically none around!!! I think 1 yellow in the US and 2 light blue ones?
It's a plus that the above car is at a Monterey auction, but I would not sell it through Mecum. Mecum is great for American iron, but not the best for specialty classics and exotics; wrong audience. Seller will not get the best bids IMHO.
Damn it Tony.....I'm not opening this thread anymore.....
Ha ! Someone here should scoop this up. No expense spared in maint, original color respray, etc. I'm going to shoot the seller a message to post up interior pics without those sheepskins-bet they they look as good as the rest of the interior. T
