No rubbies, no roof and one mirror, pasha looks decent. I'm OB ignorant so can't comment on price of 15K

Call me OCD, but why can no one put this tow hook back in its place? Guess they must be hiding the jump post cover and other goodies as well...

That car is very complete and in great shape. The price is appropriate for what the car is, albeit a touch dusty.

Ebay auction has been pulled early, item is no longer available.

It would seem it might have sold this time.

Anybody here??

Bummer, I was really wanting to know the reserve price. O well, hope they opted to hang onto the car. Super nice.

Nice low mile (37K) OB ('79) auto on BaT. Classic color combo with lots of recent maintenance and lots of originality. This will be another "market gauger" for the early cars.

this car belongs to Newcollector. I’m going to regret not buying this at a very low reasonable price over the fall season. No room at that time, just got the mossgrun metallic ‘86.0 5 spd.
Does anyone want the ‘86? 😀. That will make room for this beauty!
good luck with the auction Dan!

Thanks Hoi! And thanks to other R-Listers: Nate, tjsbeer and linderpat for the kind words.
I really hope she goes to a true fan of the model. A great price is nice but a good price to someone who'll love her is better!

That 79 red is stunning and should do very well. It’ll be fun to watch in the last few minutes. Nice work too Hoi - might as well get it jump started into reasonable territory to begin with.

I exchanged a couple of texts with the seller, he literally knows nothing about the car. He acquired it in a land deal and just wants to move it. I don't know how motivated he is or what kind of offers he's gotten. It was listed on ebay and on BAT (not for auction...just listed by BAT as a find). The BAT community flamed it pretty good. I agree with some, there's lots to like. It's an early/euro spec car there's no compressor but it's been mentioned that euro spec cars didn't have one. Cosmetically this car could be made to look really good in a weekend, mechanically is another story I'm sure.
