It will be interesting to see where this one ends up: http://bringatrailer.com/listing/198...omment-1652527.

I am always quite surprised at how people present cars for sale - in this case, especially a dealer! There are a number of things that indicate poor prior service overall. For anyone selling one of these cars, replacement air box straps (2 missing), a jump post cover, good undercarriage power wash, and a vacuum, especially the rear hatch area, goes a long way in helping to maximize sale price. Color is great on this car, but would need to see in person the quality; considering everything else, I am skeptical. Also, looks like the pads are not seating correctly on the rotors.

Wow, and the seller is looking for 90 large! Good luck with that ask.

There is something seriously wrong with this car. Look at the panel gaps on the drivers side - door to C-Pillar and lower fender to door.

There is a LOT wrong with that car - Starting with the asking price of $90k. He might get that price if the car was completely original. Having been hit all up one side and then repainted there is just no way. Interior doesn't look anything like a 20k mile car either.

Yeah right, that interior shows more miles than 21.000 miles to my eye.

The gaps between the panels also merit attention...

BaT now has model specif pages complete with auction results. Here is the one for the 928. Pretty interesting. They need to change the tag line to Shawn's though..."...the 928 is not a joy riding car; it's a tool, a road weapon designed to destroy distance and crush time."

The data is plain that there has been a drop off, but its because of what I said on that no-sale BAT 928 from a few days ago -

People are trotting out their rotting low mile 928s and doing NO work to them. And the "basketcase" title comes up again. Idiots. Fix, Repair, Resolve, and Clean it up! Its irritating because people will still say to me "Yours was an anomaly".

Okay. But not in the way you think. Find a restored low mile car with detailed pics of the entire process for sale. Then we can talk. Not a "repaint car" with questions on every system because they were afraid to drive it, or work on it.

I've notice a plethora of junk or cars needing loads of work on there lately. If you can't put on decent center caps what the hell else is hidden.
