Default WTB 1978 Silver or Orange 928 with pasha interior

WTB 1978 Silver or Orange 928 with pasha interior. Paint and interior can be less than average or better. Original paint code must be silver or orange - I.e. If it has been painted over, that's okay, will restore to original. Same applies to pasha interior, will restore. However, solid mechanicals a must, e.g. Expect at least recent service records, including records showing evidence of up-to-date timing belt and water pump maintenance. Any leads appreciated. Thank you.

Orange? That's a big ask.

They made less than 500 in continental orange. Even fewer with a Pascha interior. I wish you the best of luck.

Drooman had one for sale recently but he sold it. Didn't you see that listing? It needed maintenance but it was mechanically sound with low mileage. His car was a find.

Good luck

The silver one may be out there but fabric will be worn most likely. It's available so interior can be restored. Orange one will be tough. You could always "paint to sample."

I contacted Drooman (his was the red painted over CO) shortly after his post and eventually offered him the price he asked, but apparently, I understand, he received a bundle offer for several cars that included the CO vehicle as a lesser side item. The only way I could get the CO car was to buy a partial bundle of cars, which was not practical for me to do. Very disappointing for me, but a great and understandable win for him. So the search goes on.....

I would be interested in 1978 silver and even badly worn pasha and cracked dash - I have assumed that a significant element of restoration is going to be involved in any purchase, should I be so fortunate as to find the car.

Conatct Jim Doerr (Jadz928). He sold this silver '78 pascha on BaT but said the buyer didn't come through. He may still have it.

Dennis (dmhager) also bought an early VIN (#16) silver '78 with blue pascha interior, manual. Find him here and he will sell you the car. Good luck!

Guys, thanks for the leads. I have followed up and one sounds promising. Regardless, I have had deals fall through and I am still looking for that silver (or orange) 1978 928 with pasha interior. I am not looking for a collector car, I.e. The car does not have to be perfect - I am willing to repaint and re-do the interior. I prefer a car that runs and has up-to-date service. Thanks again for thinking of me.

I saw a 1979 orange car for sale on Craigslist. I think it was in Vero Beach Florida around $7k. You will have to look it up

I saw that too, about 2 months ago. Not sure if it was factory orange though
