Default 928 race car #829 found (Bob Devore / DEVEK - HP)

I found a vintage race car # 829 looks like a lot of history Rolex car, green in color. Does anyone know the history of the car?

it's a pre S4, looks like it has 944 style fender flares. Interesting.

Regardless of the history, it looks way too special to just sit there forgotten.

Wish the picture was not so blurry. The Windshield banner might give something to go on.

Where exactly did you "find" this car?

Cleaned up photos here:

Another site of interest showing the car:
https://www.pinterest.com/iammaveric...he-collection/

Upon seeing the dirty / dusty photo my first thought it was part of the big auction:

I updated the thread title to be a bit more descriptive too.

Interesting.. his Pinterest pictures were uploaded 29 weeks ago and talk about his loft of Porsches.. but the contents of the loft were auctioned off about 2 years ago (from memory - some listers including Mark A went to the auction and bought items IIRC).

OP - this car may have an unusual past. I'd be checking all the car's details myself in person, and then with the authorities, before buying it.

(Possible Maverick car - HP)

That would reduce its value to less than zero...

I was at the auction of Maverick's garage. I remember seeing the car but I don't recall anything about it. If it had been a real race car I would probably have paid attention to it. Most of the cars were all pimped out, lots of bling but no substance. If you looked past the gaudy paint a lot of the mechanicals were quite rough.
The auction company was supposed to be providing clear titles. Marc Anderson bought several cars.
