LA Porsche Auction w/ serveral 928s
Was on a different site and found a link to an auction in LA on 12/1 that has many 928s. Not sure if there is any interest but thought I'd pass it along.
Go to "Porsche Auction December 1, 2012" to see pics

As always, be careful about titles and unpaid back registration. Also does not state if it is a no reserve auction which is real important if you really want to buy something.

Just threw up a little in my mouth..
Bad color with no accents...my brain definitely wants Union 76 orange with that...bling wheels and fender work..and Crocket & Tubbs Faux Ferrari trim.
If someone really likes that, that's ok...but its not for me.

If unaware, they can be waived.

Looks similar to Maverick Marsalis' collection - from "Project ASAP"?

In fact, just noticed - it is (was?) his stuff:
Pics of some of the same cars here: (red S4 with kinesis wheels.. also the red "thing" with no rear hatch, and what looks like an attempt at making it into a pickup?)
These two below look like they're on Mavericks' site, on this page:

edit: LOL.. while I was finding the pics, others came to the same conclusion.

Yup. That's Maverick. So some of that stuff is actually hot, probably. But not all of it. I wonder what finally caught up with him. I think James has been eyeing that convertible for a while.

+ 15% buyer premium. Take it into account when bidding.
I think CA has a law about auctioning cars to the public must have clear title or bonded. Of course, they could be selling some of them as 'parts only, not for highway use'. There's one joker in that deck of cars, but I'm not going to tell you what it is, because I might have someone bid on it for me.

No bonded titles in Ca...and although back fees MAY be waived the state of Ca is bankrupt....just not official yet ! Hard to see them waving fees....but anything is possible Kibort waltzed in and registered the 86/87 Holbert car with ZZZ in the vin .....no problem !!! That never should have been possible ...
