Why is there more material & a radius at the base of the standoffs with the set up at the beginning of the thread... but appears just a 90 degree junction on the set for eBay? That junction would be more fatigue prone, would it not?
Thats a ref pic for the centering rings and those were the mockups for the 951/S2 spindles. All the adapters will be base radiuses. At 180mm bolt centers, adapters can be done for the 130mm radial mount spindles for sure. Keep throwing up measurements and I'll draft it out. I doubt I'll machine those out.
Mark had F-40 six piston front brakes, huge rotors on hats....Kibort has GTS rotors with spaced out S-4 calipers...
Thanks. I wasn't sure. Still for 99% standard brakes will suffice. These will be in my back pocket if I ever get good enough to outdo the S4 brakes I got for my 83 racer.

I have built tons of custom parts and brake kits for these cars over the years and have yet to see one of the adapters fail. Even Wilwood's Integra adapters don't have the amount of material around the bolt holes that I incorporate into these. If you are worried about Porsche-designed longevity, then you need to consider tossing your A390 block as it's just a matter of time before the heat cycles catch up. Same goes for the crap-forged P-calipers that reach their heat cycle limits where they become un-rebuilable from the severe heat gauling of the pistons.
.....Should be getting a report back from Barber on these.
I agree these are much better than the factory system. Just that not everyone needs that. I like what you have done. It looks fine from a strength point of view.
It's an honor to accept your approval Gaugeman. Now if I can only get Hackstetter's seal of approval.
Not sure if you are serious, but if so, no need to be honoured.
I will say that if the center-line permits, you might want to look at swapping that aluminum bracket to the other side of the spindle. I am not sure if the tie rod becomes an issue then, but the radiated heat from the rotor will certainly soak that adapter and transfer some to the caliper. The further away from the heat source, the better. Might have to use a hex head bolt instead of an hex socket cap screw.
Long time ago in a land far away since I did any thermal dynamic stuff, but the closer I get to the hot coffee with my mouth the more I feel it....lol. small difference in distance will be a large difference in heat transfer.
FWIW, all of the recent discussion about brake bias valves led me to hike out to the garage to look at whatever valve there is on Anderson's car. Turns out there isn't one. F50's on 355 x 32 rotors in front, stock S4 calipers and rotors in back. Pagid blacks.
I guess if you go big enough in front, the backs can't overwhelm you.
I have another set of these adapters if anyone is interested. I updated the base posts with a filet on the last run so they are Nuke proof. Will Also come with a fresh pair of Cayenne rotor centering rings.....$225 shipped US-48 only. I take Paypal and will ship Priority. Thanks, Rob IMG_20151116_210332_zpskhzzkbdt.jpg
