My thoughts exactly. I really wasn't sure. I was parked next to an apartment complex. It was around the time when drunk people come back home from the bars on a Saturday night/Sunday morning. I'm assuming it was a senseless act...mostly because I can't think of anyone I pissed off that bad.

If in OC, call Frank at Haus of Performance in Costa Mesa. He's been around since the 70's and wrenched my shark for 10 years. He'll steer you in the right direction. GL

Even if it is your dime...that's where to take it.

Ron is world class, in terms or repair and paint and has "fair" prices. Not what the local "illegal" down the street will charge, but fair.

Ron has had at least one of my customer's 928s there, for paint or repair, continuously, for the past 3 years.

Never have had a customer even begin to mumble a complaint.....well, had one customer that sold his car because he was afraid to drive it, once Ron was done with it.

Seriously! This happened! Too beautiful to drive!

Always a concern when you go all the way on the "make it nice"

Scary, I have an 83 Zinc Metallic 5 spd, and it looks too much like yours except my dents are fixed.

What is yours an 83 or 84? Not a model year that parts out for much, or takes that much to total, closer to half of $7k I'd guess.

Body shop I used for my repair couldn't talk AAA into new rubber seals which were about $800 out of my pocket on top of the deductible. Shop wasn't willing to do any non accident related paint work even with me paying, and I was also looking at just a few touchup spots. Not a wise choice on my part to pick less than the best shop regardless of price.

I would kill the person that did this to my car. Just say he was throwing the block at me and I had to defend myself.

Yeah I'm excited to work with them. I hope if the car isn't totaled to get them to fix up some chips and and paint fades.

It was on a street behind an apartment complex. I was parked right next to the back gate. No cameras behind it, and anything was blocked by the trees and a fence in the line of sight.

Oh man, I hope this will be a fix that won't cost the market value of the car, or exceed it. Good luck to you. I hope you find out who it was so we can all assist in hanging them by their entrails.
