I am sorry to hear of this. I watched this thread since the beginning. I have tons of questions but understand that they may be best saved for another day. I can totally understand and empathize with your frustration. Good luck with the sale. Lots of nice work done here!!

Thanks fellows. I am not about to jump off of a bridge or anything I have just had a slow decline from wanting to be buried in the car because I loved it so much to it just being another thing to worry about.
If it does not sell to a friend or a lister it will eventually be fixed. It would be nice to have a different 928 that I could drive around in the meantime but the budget does not allow.
At this point I would be willing to trade for one or two that are available now that I am familiar with and run great.

Life goes on.....

I hate it for you brother! If it makes you feel any better, looks like I will be showing up at SITM without a 928 AGAIN this year. I might bring Lori's Q7...at least it's German....

Hate to see this Brian - been following all along. My $.02 is step away for awhile, then come back and solve then drive.

At the very least, I hope someone steps up for a trade, so that you stay active in the community

I remember SITM 2008 when you, and Ed sat together at dinner!

Put it on mothballs awhile, the project will "keep".

Well I have followed your advice and have successfully recovered the car. It drove on the trailer and drove off into the garage. I must still love it because I stopped buy a car wash on the way home and sprayed her off before putting her to bed.

To be continued...........

Very good, Brian!
Put her to bed and let her be. Come back sometime in the future.
Enjoy your 82 now.

After this video was shot we went for a 45 minute run up the mountain. She performed better than ever thanks to Peter.
There are a few electrical bugs to work out with accessories and switches and such but she is tuned in nicely.
