Of the ones on the road, 365 were 928 S4's.
That's a bit surprising given the cost of fuel over there. Isn't it something like 20 pound/centilitre? 928s can be rather thirsty if you mash on the right pedal.

And here is a link to a video we did a couple of years ago- which has our old 944 in it!

It costs us currently just over £100 to fill her up, at current exchange rate... about $165.

And we get around 350 miles out of that. It's not good, but hey, I don't want a stupid little ugly car.
Plus, i think it's more economical and better for the world in general to keep older cars running than to just junk them and keep buying new ones.

Clearly, someone needs to step up and cover airfare so you can launch a North America tour from the "International" owners club meet in Kansas City...

And I quite agree on the American tour.

Celeb 928 car girl, yes! Idol.

You need to hunt-down John Speake and get that car shark-tuned. Real-deal tuneup.

Do you guys book bar mitzvahs?

Really, just having a bit of fun at your expense. Video was pretty good production, audio needs some work, but is generally ok. We really, really need you in OTP&C......

Vikki - my teenage daughters approved the music but fell about laughing when I showed them my version of a pogo from way back in the London clubs in my punk days.

That car is you exactly - glad you are looking after her/him

Lmao, glad your daughter approves. Don't see too much of the pogo-ing anymore!

We are nuts about this car, had some pretty cool ones in the past- 82" 944, 944 turbo, 89' 2.7 944 and a daimler ds420 hearse, but none of them have affected us as much as this one- it has huge presence and massive appeal. I never joined a forum about any of the other cars.

Warning, we are not the 'normal' car forum. Most of us are certifiable, including Roger(we live a few miles apart) and I. However, we do love our 928s. You'll get plenty of help for your car needs here.

Hope your weather clears up. We just had a 'storm' blow through in about 15 minutes. Nice little soaking, now we've got sun and mild breeze. If you want to move to TX, you'll fit right in. A few long guns, ten gallon hat, and some pointy boots. lol......
