I live in England too, but it shouldn't be damp inside the car unless there is a leak somewhere, and they do leak. It could be around the rear hatch past the seal by the hinges or at the bottom corner edges or if the glass isn't sealed properly water will find a way in. Can also be through the rubber seal where the rear light fixes into the boot or the bulkhead under the fan, below the windscreen, if the drain fills up with leaves and stuff water will come in and run down behind the CE panel on a RHD car. Look down there in the engine bay and you should see a small rubber flap on the bulkhead about half way down, make sure it is clear. If you have a sunroof it can also leak of the seals are poor and the drain is blocked.
I am trying to track a leak on mine in the rear, I have put talc around the seals to see where it is coming in, hopefully the water will wash the powder and give me a clue.

£1000 later..
2 front abs sensors
Rewired horn
Rewired rear light
Start button {no more bollocks!)
Back up light switch replaced
Rear wiper fixed
Mot
Section of atf pipe replaced
New spark plugs.
Just need 2 new front tyres (£70) poss new ht leads (£160) & more work done on fuel lines (£400) & cavity waxoyl and I think I'll be happy.
not 928, but still cool..

Aaargh, i didn't see this!

I think i was on my way to birmingham to flog tees anyway :-(

Would very much like to get to a gathering of 928's in the UK though, please drop me a line for future events :-)
