Default EPC Vin search?

I have been trying to find something similar to what i use for my M5 which ETK.CC which allows a VIN decode which then relates straight to the parts catalogue that suits my specific car. Does this exist for Porsche?

Sadly not any more - it was a feature of PET7 but has now been limited to PET users with a dealership/vendor login provided by Porsche, rather than just any old install.

As I suspected and thanks for the heads up....who do you source your parts from Hilton? I need to give my new girl a birthday as she was in storage for 6 years

It depends on the parts, and how much/often I'm ordering.

Mostly I order from the USA - a mix of 928intl.com and 928srus.com. Both know 928s intimately and provide great service as well as fast shipping, as well as being able to answer questions about which other parts its worth replacing at the same time.

For local bits (if its just one or two items or something I need in a hurry and they have it in stock), Bob Whyms Auto (bwaauto.com.au) are usually pretty good, they work on enough 928's that they have a fair bit of stock, and they're always cheaper than the local Porsche dealership.

I also order from Sonnen Porsche in California - for some items they're pretty much unbeatable (e.g. new Porsche cam gears for $305 each), but you need to be very familiar with the 928 parts catalogue and its nuances (including RHD-specific) and be able to order by part number, unlike with Roger & 928intl.
