I´m not so pleased with the new seal. 4 weeks after installing the driver side of my 928 s 2 I have water on the window after opening and closing the wet window.First the seal looks like the one on the pictures.
I think the seal is to small for perfect fit.My seal has a small gap between rubber and window now.

Hi Karsten,
Good feedback. Do you think it shrunk? What about the other side.
I am having new ones fitted to my car this weekend so we will see.
Test samples shipping to Jadz928 and Lizard tomorrow.

My new seals are so tight, you can hear the window motor struggle to get the window up the last six inches or so.
One thing I had to do, and I forgot to mention on the video that I took, was to "open up" the inside felt part. You will know what I am talking about once you get them in your hand. It is kind of sealed up, and all you need to do is run your finger down the rubber seal to make sure the inside felt strip is free from the rest of the rubber. It is hard to explain but I will try and add that to the short video I took.
Just for the record and so nobody gets upset - the list was compiled in exact date and time order on emails received at roger@928sRus.com in accordance with the instructions in my first post.
Progress slowed a little while I was away but we are up and running now.
Mike was in a position to test straight away and so far so good. My GTS gets fitted this weekend (thank you Mike) and time will tell if we see issues like Karsten has experianced. Thats why we do tests like this.
If they work the way they are supposed to I will be buying plenty more so there will be enough for everyone and more.
Here is a link to the video I just posted on YouTube of Mike installing the new Window Seal--->> http://youtu.be/O7l5dBlA8yM
There will also be a link on our Website.
I've got to say the new seal looks Waaayyyy better than the old.
It seemed to me to be pretty easy to install, the only confusing part was how the seal actually goes on the rail, but as long as you have some strong fingers it should be a cake walk. And be patient - dont pull the seal too hard as you are sliding it down past the window - it is a very tight fit.
Roger,
the other side is oem.I did the driver side because my "Türfangband" was broken.
I didn´t know the english term for the door catch mechanism .
I think I post pictures later.
Installation is really very easy.
