The Duel disk clutch is held to the flywheel with 6 bolts. I can't tell if its supposed to be mb x 40 or m8 x 45?

Getting down to the nitty gritty now. Should. Be running before August.

What do we use now for the disintegrating foam Sealing on the edges of the wheel well covers?

Code:
(35 x 20 mm cross section)
Driver's side vertical U piece 23-11/16" long, 1-3/8" wide, 13/16" thick 928 504 223 04
Driver's vertical upper piece- 18" long	928 504 223 07
Driver's side horizontal U piece- 16-3/4" long	928 504 223 05
both sides' vertical short pieces - 7-3/4" long	928 504 223 09
Passenger side vertical upper R side 26-3/16" long	928 504 223 08
The pieces from Porsche used to be quite reasonable, but any 15 x 30 rectangular section closed cell foam would be fine.

Belt alignment issue on the fan belt/air pump triangle. It seems like the pulley I have for the fan has a thicker neck so it sticks out from the hub more - thereby changing the geometry.

Car is running, and its... smooth - but the belt thing I have to fix before I go further.

1/2 inch pipe insulation works perfect to replace the foam in the fender liners just squish it in with the sliced part out then trim off the access.

The red 86.5 with 31k miles has been driven around the neighborhood. There will be some bugs to work out, as I did disassemble and reassemble the entire car.

I need an alignment, and I need to figure out some dash lights.

The AC up idle valve has been fastened to the cross bar. I am not sure if its the right bracket.

The dash lights are thus:

Washer fluid
Antilock brakes

I think the washer fluid is probably because I did not put anything in the washer fluid tank.

The antilock light is more concerning. I redid all grounds on the car, and reused the abs sensors.

The pan gasket (new of course) seems to seep a bit when the car is tilted up at the front. Not when laying flat. I ran the car around about 15 min today and I will see what I find tonight or tomorrow.

Really smooth power, brakes need to be bed in, and shifting is of course butter smooth.

Radio works.

I am not good at detailing, but I am also not good at keeping a clean car clean. So I will have to time the paint cleaning and detail properly before it goes to show or auction, etc.

Yes, I will be selling this car. Its red. I have to. But man, is it nice.

I also have received an original hood pad, so I will put that in, it will complete the hood open look nicely.

Looks fantastic!

Question, those rear suspension parts you cleaned up...did you paint them or did they clean up that nice?

Brian.
