Paint correction now done, trailered J.P. back to the shop. Glad to see the rest of the Infinity Box system came in while she was away. Will place initial wiring, connector, etc., order on Mon. While awaiting that order, plan is to fly over to JAX on Wed to meet with Carl (FLYVMO). Plan is to take lots of pics and ask questions regarding Carl's I-Box install that's almsot done and car is still apart. Will also be joining some other 928'rs at Amelia Island Concours. T

That's awesome, but to keep it 928ish.....scrap all that wire and just buy a 1,000' spool of gray

I really need a labeler. Do the labels from that unit stick good to wires?

If wire is labeled on both ends I don't see why not Have not used this labeler as of yet. Carl has so it must be good T

Tony, Just caught up reading this entire thread... DAMN! This build is AWESOME! From the tear down, stripping, rebuild and engine, color choice & the OB look and the wheels are spot on! One helluva sleeper too... On my project, we've been struggling over the addition of a wing (either S4 or an after market) but after seeing JP without it I'm having 2nd thoughts... Both cars are very similar from the rub strips, side markers, rear wiper & rear seat delete, albeit the comparison ends there. Are you guys going with a wing or gonna keep her *** end as is...? Again, very nice job... She's a beauty!

Joel

Thank you Joel, Been following your thread and your OB looks superb Original plan was to mimic the rear spoiler tested on the early concept cars. Even went ahead and tried a few out and eventually nixed the idea. Personally never liked the S4 rear spoilers on pre 87's. Sorry and hope this helps to persuade staying with that clean OB look. Purchased a used front Euro "S" FBC that allowed ducting and increased air flow to the front brakes. Hardly noticeable down low and no need for the "S" type wrap around lower section. T

Most parts/tools ordered are now at the shop so time to get this project rolling. A small shelf will sit inside compartment in the rear seat delete just above the sub box. This will house both the rear power & inMotion cells and offer easy access to cells, fuses, etc. T

Master and front power cells mounted where the CE panel used to be. Rear power and InMotion cells mounted in rear seat delete cabinet behind pass seat just above sub box. Starting to look like a system. Spring Fling in a few days and not sure if she will be ready in time. T

Looking good Tony!

Very clean looking install. Starting to look like a modern electrical system. You may want to rotate the Master Cell 90 degrees counter clockwise. Otherwise you won't be able to read the display unless you tilt your head 90 degrees

Cheers!
