Thanks to Rick (WyattsRide) I received centercaps today in the mail..as well as some AWESOME extras. The Porsche lanyard and model car were a huge surprise and just goes to show what kind of community this is. Not only did he GIVE all this to me, but he actually took time and money out of his pocket to send them.. Rick, your generosity and kindness restore some of my faith in humanity, lol. Thank you so much for making me even happier to be part of this group of enthusiasts!!!

Hey Man. I live in Bloomfield now, but grew up in Lakewood and my parents still live in Toms River. Looking forward to seeing this car on the Parkway in the summer!

Pictures with the new center caps on, or it never happened. LOL!!

I have a lot of respect for a guy that isn't afraid to get in there and put some elbow grease into a great old car.

Got my wheels all set for when the car is road-ready Thanks goes to 77Tony for his patience and help with shipping these out to me. We had a lil hiccup with one wheel, but it all got sorted and the set was completed yesterday! I can't wait till these go on..

Thumbs up WELCOME FELLOW JERSEY SHARK!!

WELCOME BROTHER! Great find!! looks like it's on really good shape. I used to live in the Lakewood-Brick area in my younger/wilder days know Seaside very well (from 45 yrs ago). I'm in Maple Shade now, near where 295 & 73 cross. Got myself an '83 Euro-S with a 5 speed in July, only paid $3K for it and it runs like 40 BEARS!!(even though it isn't 100% yet). I drove it home on 73, Just crusin' to see how she talks to me, got it up in 5th, looked at the speedo & was doing 85 without really being on it at all!!! I literally PISSED MY SELF!!. There's a custom car get-together at the EVERGREEN DAIRY BAR on RT70 about 2 miles west of 206 on thuesday nights. Maybe you know the place, used to be the only place to get ice cream between Lakehurst and Camdump in the 70s. Got rained out this week but I'll get there next week fer shur. Lots of custom cars (not just sharks, but good people anyway) good food and a LIVE BAND!! If you got the time maybe I'll see you there some time, starts at about 4PM. My 928 is my first Porsche, but I've had 2 Mazda RX-3s, a '79 RX-7 and a '73 Renault-R17 GORDINI that I found for sale at a junk yard. Brought the ZOMBIE back to life (1600ccS of wild Italian Attitude), ran the p!ss out of it for 3 yrs & then sold it for $2k SNARLY CARS RULE!! & 928s are snarly to the MAX!

Renault is French, not Italian

(yes, Gordini is an italian name - the man Gordini was born in Italy, but built cars in France, and later worked for Renault there).
