Made a few more moves:

-Found out where my coolant is going. Turns out I have a slit in my passenger-side upper coolant house. No store around me has it, so looks like I'll be ordering it.

-Did a little engine de-greasing, looks better but not great. I'll have to get in there with more detail on a warmer day

-Opened my sunroof manually and did some testing. Turns out the motor is shot. At least it's not the switch or any of the mechanical stuff, so that's a plus. Also found that the small leak I have is from the sunroof weather stripping. So that needs replacing.

-Removed the black paint from the wheels, completing the full removal of all blacked out parts that were on the car Here is a pic as well as a nice one I took the other day.

Took apart a good chunk today Got to know her even more and do some cleaning. Found an old nest in there, ugh. I plan to replace all those lines and do some serious degreasing. More pics to come!

You might want to cover the ports up with some tape or stuff rags into them to keep any unwanted stuff out.

I just fill mine with gravel at this point to make sure no dirt falls in there.

Lol, I actually have plugs that are perfect fits for all the cylinder holes, and the throttle body holes I used some clean rags. I learned the hard way back in the day that everything should be covered up, lol

Replaced a ton of lines, did some deep degreasing, changed all the plugs, wire-brushed the tarantula legs, and put her back together! A nice wash and then a long drive. She's running so much smoother!

John,

Car looks great. You've done well. Covered a lot of cosmetics and the some, but not all, of the basics.
You haven't mentioned flexplate/endplay status. Easy and very important job to do.
Timing Belt ?

for the sunroof leak you probably need to replace the drip tray inside the roof,
its bolted to the rear edge of the sunroof,
the dark cars bake the plastic tray and it crumbles,
your weather strips are not the cause of the leaks

@MainPorsche, yea I have alot to do still. The timing belt was replaced by the PO (still have to confirm this, though). Next nice day I plan to check my flexplate too.

@MrMerlin, you confirm my research as to my sunroof leak. My plan is to take it all apart, clean & recondition, and replace that tray ASAP

Thanks for the advice, guys! Keep it coming!

Johnny,
PM me your address and I'll send you out some center caps for your wheels. They aren't perfect, but they still can be used until you find something better. BTW great work on your car!

John,
When you get her up see if you have 6 or 4 bolts holding the flywheel cover on. If you have 6, the flexplate business has probably never been tended to. If you have 6, order the 2 exhaust flange 'gaskets' before you start. This is because you will have to disconnect the exhaust piping from the manifold outlet in order to get to the 2 rear most flywheel cover bolts. You don't want to say oh sh@t once you have it disconnected/down, and have to put the old ones back on because you didn't have the gaskets at hand. When you're finished with the task replace the flywheel cover with 4 bolts - you can then re-evaluate the flexplate with relative ease.
