Brian,
Nice wheels assuming they fit OK. If they are one piece cast wheels and weigh as indicated are you sure they are strong enough to take the weight load of a 928 at that offset?. Maybe they are forged with hidden bolts? I doubt v much at that price point but...?
Just remember to ensure/check that:
1. The sectional profile design is such that the spokes will clear the front brake calipers- this point is often overlooked when purchasing from a non 928 specialist vendor.
2. The open centre of the hub is sufficent to clear the front bearing cover.
Fitment on the rear should be no problem.
Great deal if they work OK

The TR motorsports wheels that fit the E92 M3 were VERY popular with the track driven E92 M3 crowd....lots of guys had typically BFG R1's in 275/35-18 all around on the M3's....a far heavier more powerful car...with no problems.......I almost bought a set for my M3 to drive on track before I bought a 928 racer....back when they were $300+ per wheel...not $99.....I think the reason these wheels "were" so expensive was the "Porsche" hub center....thats 100% markup past BMW right there...

Don't buy this wheel
I was instructing at a local track day. The student had a high performance prepared Pontiac GTO (racing seats and harnesses, roll cage). We were reaching 120 mph on the drag strip portion that required a good amount of deceleration to make a 110 degree right turn. We even passed a new Ferrari. As we were rounding a large decreasing radius turn we heard a loud bang and a lot of nasty noise. We pulled off the track and waited for the session to end.
I thought the tire blew out of came loose from the bead. Nope ... the center spoke detached from the outer wheel! I'm glad that this didn't happen as we were passing that Ferrari at over 100 mph!!

Nice find Brian, a good looking wheel too!
I bought a pair of 993 twists 18x10 65mm for the front of my track car and even with the Kibort mod it doesn't look like they will clear. (Haven't mounted the tires up yet) Does it take the mod + fender rolling?

They will fit......back in March I won a race in the rain at Thunderhill with 18x10X65mm wheels on the fronts with 265/35-18 tires....fit no problem.... Lool at my avatar pic....same setup with 19x11's in rear with 295's
Pretty much the extent of the fender rolling I have is is just a flattened inner lip....I do plan on the "kibort" mod of pulling the fender out....probably will do that once I go to 275's all around!!

Hi,
now I am confused. The attached picture is of my 928GT with 18" wheels.
The rear is a 10 x 18 et65 Porsche wheel. This thread seems to say that it could be fitted on the front of mine, but when I tried it hit the suspension when the suspension was totally unloaded. As in, could not bolt the wheel on. I reckoned that it would have needed to be spaced out at least a quarter of an inch, but did not try to find the needed spacer.
As far as known, my suspension is stock (tired, but stock).
When people say that you can fit a 10" front, only flaring the wheel arches, are they assuming spacers are used, or is there something strange about my 928?
Cheers, Ian

I suspect you may possibly be confusing wheel and tyre here. With the wheel you have fitted on the rear it is probably carrying a 295x30 section and there is no way such a size will fit up front in a stock configuration.
Remove the tyre and fit a 265x35 section on that wheel and it will probably fit albeit you may find a rub on the outer fenders if they have not been rolled or if you have a stock spec camber setting.
Regards
Fred

Hi Fred,
the tyres are Hankook Ventus R-52 265 35 ZR18. The interference was metal to metal, not metal (Suspension) to rubber. Hence the surprise/confusion compared with earlier posts.
Cheers, Ian
