Brake pads are a maybe. Don't need new ones but I'd like to upgrade to PFCs. Not cheap! Might do these next season.
I've got Corbeau racing seats and a Devek half cage (really a roll bar) to install, along with harnesses.
I'm also reinstalling the front spoiler and belly pans.
I've also picked up a set of Toyo R888s for the track. Mounted them to my Carrera IIIs.
I've got an old set of Kinesis wheels, too, one of which has a cracked hoop. The place that mounted the tires thinks they can fix it with a replacement hoop, so I might use those for track wheels instead. They are insanely light.

Thanks to you both! Matt, I might have to put the Kraken in your hands for body work once you're done with the RS. I'm considering paint OR a vinyl wrap. Hoping to keep the color the same but I've not yet seen a matching wrap color.

I may have to get back to this as a side profession again. The last one i did (not my auto) was for an Attorney friend painting his 1974 amazon or jade green BMW 2002.
This was at least 15 years ago. Do you think the whole car needs to be done?

The benefit to a single stage urethane (without clear) aside from being tough as nails, it is easy to repair or touch up. Great for a dual purpose track/pleasure 928s like your S4.
The con to using a affordable pre mix available paint like TCP Global offers is that you would most likely not be able to get the exact silver, but close enough that no one but you would know.
To get a custom (your exact silver) and the clear you are looking at spending $2000 and up just for a mid quality paint.
When i painted my 928 the first time i spent $2000 on paint (Sikkens/Lesanal) and they screwed up the color very bad.
It was a 3-4 shades too dark. This is not Slate Blue, more like Prussian Blue metallic..

9/2 update - PKlutch installed. A lot harder than expected because once the bolts attached to the clutch master were off, the clutch master twisted a little and it was nearly impossible to get the bolt holes to realign. But they did. And it is good.
Here's a video / sound clip of the full Lomas exhaust with an X pipe, no cats. Each pause is at 2k, 3k, etc.

9/7 update: spent most of the day yesterday, after waiting for the fridge repairman, again, grr, trying to get the wiring on my track trailer in order so I can get it inspected/get tags. When I first bought the trailer, the wiring plug to connect to the truck came loose right when I got it to my brother's shop. I figured it would be no big deal to reconnect the wires inside the plug. Well, the trailer only had 5 wires, only 3 of which corresponded to the normal trailer wire colors. So, after trying a million different combinations, and blowing several fuses, I got it all together and inspected. Only took 5 hours! argh. It passed inspection, save the trailer brakes function. I'm new to towing, so please don't laugh, but I didn't realize I needed a separate trailer brake controller. I thought it would receive the signal through the plug, since my truck has a towing package. Nope! So, I've ordered a Prodigy 3 controller and will add that to the truck next week. Otherwise everything is in order for towing, other than that I need a winch in case of a breakdown; plus my tow hook eye is still all jacked up.
On the way home, I picked up a set of wheels for my brother's car; 18" sport technos. 8" wide, 50mm offset for the front, and 11", 63mm rear offset. I test-fit them to my car this morning, since the rear fenders are already rolled. The rears required spacers to clear the inside. I had 11mm worth of spacers (two sandwiched together) and that got them on. Pretty tight to the outer fender, and still pretty tight on the inners, too, but on there. I think they look pretty awesome.
Afterwards, given the gorgeous weather, I took a spirited countryside 60 mile ride. I wanted to run the car at track-like revs to see how the cooling system upgrades and updates performed. Everything ran great and let's just say I had a blast driving. Tangled with a modified S2000 and... a sport bike! That was insanely fun. Biker gave me a nice wave when I made my u turn to head back home. The Kraken, as of now, is track-ready as-is. The new exhaust has really woken up the car, and it was already pretty awake! I still want to get the roll bar, seats, and harnesses in, and I'm starting work on a little ram air project too. Hopefully next weekend. House projects dominate the rest of this one. Off to do the honey-dos. Can't wait for the Glen!

Great progress! One small word of advice: we haul horses with an F350/V10 and 2 horse gooseneck. Follow your brake controller manufacturer's instructions on calibrating the brake controller, it's really easy, and really pretty necessary. Dang, the Glen in the Fall- that is a very very hard combination to beat! Have fun!
