Pretty much finished up the big paint detail work on EURO85. My detailer did not have time to hit the nose and wanted to do it on a lift to save his back so we did it at the local High School!

Can't even tell you how many High School boys were drooling on my car!!!

You know, that's the way to build value --- expose the new generation.

Today I sent the red Stan Shaw Euro Fender car to live in VA Beach --- daughter and son-in-law have claimed it. I miss it already, 16V car with that killer 89 S4 transmission.

I have got everyone beat. Pulled the fuel tank in and out twice, just for the fun of it. And that is all I will say about that.

I looked at my car under its cover when the garage was open when I tried to jump start my pick up.... it was -8 deg. with a wind chill of -22. The truck didn't start with the charger.... it needs a new battery. it will start when its above 5 deg. got my work truck and started my pick up with that. shut the garage door and took the kids to school......

Drove it and nearly twisted my head off when I saw a Black Porsche GT3RS with orange wheels that was parked. (now that is one awesome car)

This post is worthless without pictures!!!

In the midst of replacing front shocks... What should have been a two day job is turning into a three week job as I am having trouble finding replacement dust covers and the additional internal crush springs...

And it's supposed to be back in the low 60's this weekend and sunny...

Default Wed.

Two new oil cooler lines
One repair on a seperate tranny cooler line
Steering rack remove/rebuild/replace
Tranny service with new filter and pan gasket
Rear differential service with Redline gear oil

Coming at the end of the month - Rear glass delete with Lexan going in. Rear metal bumper delete, nothing in its place. Should shave at least 50 lbs if not more off her.

With 16 degrees outside with a nice sun, in a few minutes I will drive it for about 100km.
I don't have any special place to go, just drive it because the next few days will be raining and it won't get out of the garage.

Regards

Just can back from the exhaust shop. I have been blowing through header collector gaskets like water. I decided to weld a pipe to the collector. Fixed some leaks and she drives much better and sounds awesome. If I need to drop the exhaust I will just cut it and reweld. Thats OK with me. Installed some new relay's(Thanks Roger), changed the oil and toped off the power steering. Looks like it needs a hose.
Next week it will be getting new tie rods, CV boots, Fix a oil leak and a progressive NOS system!

Nothing because I did P90X Plyometrics last night and was dead tired. What will I do today, nothing because I have to take my kids to ski team practice. -28 F here this morning and they are still holding practice. Thank God for heated boots and gloves for the kids!

i have unpacked my new alternator, old one had noisy bearings and gives 16v .
installing is for the weekend.
i cleaned the pod dimmer switch. it was green oxidated. cleaning it didnt help
i just put it in 10% sulphuric acid solution for a few seconds, the copper came out nice yellow and shiny clean, i, put it in ultrasonic cleaner , flushed and lubricate it now it works like new on the testbench.
