Everyone's positive comments and suggestions goes a long way, and I appreciate all of them very much. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel...
Cheers!

Drifting
Your GT is going to have that 'new car smell' though.
I like the mods you've elected to make.
A bond with this car, you will have. (said in a Yoda voice)
May the car Gods smile upon you and your GT.

ISIS Electrical install begins
Today I started mounting the ISIS system, starting with the CEB "replacement". Previously I made a mounting tray from ABS plastic of close to the same dimensions as the factory CEB. This tray will hold the Mastercell that takes all the inputs from switches and other triggers (left module in picture), and one Powercell that powers everything inside the cabin. Not shown in the pictures is the InMotion controller that handles power windows, power door locks and headlight motor. This controller will be mounted on the side footwell wall where the LH/EZK computers normally mount. Also not shown are the 2 additional Powercells (one front and one rear) that handles all the power loads in those areas. They look exactly the same as the one pictured. The only connection between the cells is a CANBUS type network cable. That really cuts down on the amount of wires running back and forth. The CEB tray also houses the diagnostic plug, which is moved from its normal location near the amplifier.
One of the pictures shows the key FOBs which can control any output that has a control switch or connection to the Mastercell. Each FOB has several "pages" that you can skip to by pushing a function key, so one remote can have 16 different controls.
Security is built-in to the Mastercell and will isolate the starter and sound the horns if doors, trunk or hood is opened while armed. Because there is no typical ignition switch wiring (no battery power going through the switch) trying to hot wire the car while security is enabled will not work.
Each Mastercell has 50 inputs (can be anything, a switch, a signal, a frequency), and each Powercell has 10 outputs, each at 25A max (more if adding a relay), and can also PWM several of the outputs.
I also got the DBW pedal mount done, basically modifying the stock gas pedal mount by drilling two holes for the DBW pedal to mount to. Left to do is to add a support for the left side of the DBW bracket, and get the actuator arm to align properly with the 928 pedal. Dropped it off at the local machine shop to have them modify the actuator arm accordingly.
Hopefully I will have more pictures next week, now I have to go play with an intake someone sent me Tony, there is some cutting to do!
Cheers!

Ventilation blower upgrade
A few more items accomplished last week. The rear ISIS power cell is now mounted in the drivers rear wheel well, where the PSD usually sits. This unit will control the tail lights, brake lights, rear fog lights, turn signals, backup lights, license plate lights, rear defroster, rear hatch release motor and trunk lighting. I have the interior lighting separated in 2 areas, so when the trunk is opened, only the lights in the trunk area will come on. Opening any passenger door will illuminate all interior lights. Can also be selected from a toggle switch in the dash.
Fuel tank is in place, heat shield upgraded on the rear of the tank cradle, DR's sway bar with new bushings and mounting brackets are installed, along with new brake lines.
Also upgraded the ventilation blower with a new motor. Actually ended up getting motor and squirrel cage, but the fan easily pops off the new motor and the stock fan presses on the new motor. The motor from a 1992 VW Passat is a direct fit, the only thing that needs to be modified is lengthening the power and ground wires, either by splicing or desoldering the connections on the motor and re-soldering longer wires. While I had the motor apart, the fan casing got a fresh coat of plastic paint. That should last another 25 years I hope.
Cheers!

Thanks Tony!
I guess this means it is no longer a 928 because I have a non-original ventilation blower fan installed....not to mention non-stock electrical system..oh the horror
JP is looking great after the alignment. What's next? Hey, you said I could cut it....hehe. Haven't modified it yet, but it should work. Will work on it when I get back. Check this one out too: http://www.airaid.com/ProductDetail....ductID=250-230
