This looks like a fantastic product and I am really happy on all the new developments that you 2 have been coming up with.
Seeing this had me wondering if you could design a rear tail light with these?
I like the style of the 87 and newer tail light but it would be cool if it had a sheet of something like this to illuminate the braking and turn signals.

I doubt the fiber optic strips would be bright enough for that purpose. But an array of LEDs, much like Aston or Audi are doing, obviously is the way to go.
We will introduce yet another product based on the fiber optic light panel, but we want both the switch panel and the sill kits to ship first.

I am confused about the concern about what tint the white colors are. Some want amber, to match what? The dash, pod and console lights? The sill lights will not be on then. Wont they only be on when you open the door? If yes, if one was trying to keep the ambiance the same, wouldn't you want the sill lights to be as bright in tone as the interior lights that go on when you open the door?

Wire and current limiting resistors for harness construction were just delivered. Quality automotive-grade 22g pre-tinned wire for easy installation in any number of configurations. No cheap Chinese harness here (although they were tempting). Each harness will be handmade and crimped here in Indianapolis.
Terminals and pins are coming from a supplier in Nevada, so they wont likely be here till Tuesday, but these will be shipping soon.
I also got the test amber LEDs, and will try and get some pictures up soon.
Thanks
Hans

Having LED arrays for the S4 taillights would rock, would cut down on the heat-induced cracks in the reverse lamp part of the housing. And turning the GTS center rear strip into a 4th brake light is something I would sign up for. Would certainly help get people's attention..

Hi Paul,
You mentioned that putting different colored LEDs on each end created a transition effect.
If you have a red and blue light source, could you take a photo (in the dark) of that combination?
Thanks

this is the best picture of the effect I could take:
I can assure you the effect looks better in person.
Admittedly, I am not very good at taking pictures of lighted LEDs
