Anyhow, negative trigger seems to work well for most things, so we are going to go that route. The panel is still run in a positive mode for the 90+ and the customers who are not ordering a plug-and-play harness can configure it any way they want.
I will also be posting instructions in a future (but soon) thread for installing the 530t and 529t modules in the 928 for use with stock or aftermarket switches.
Thanks,
Hans

Still at the office with no end in sight. Pictures of the harness may not make it online tonight. Harnesses will still be shipping out to Paul this week, but pictures *may* not make it up till tomorrow.
I am thinking that I may have to take a "sick day" tomorrow afternoon to make up for all this unpaid overtime for the past couple weeks.
Thanks everyone (both for letting me vent and putting up with my work situation "with" me.)
Hope to have an update for you guys tonight
Hans

Couldnt get the harness finished up last night, didnt get home till after 9:30 - another not great day.
However, I escaped tonight and now have the 89 and older plug-and-play harness shortened down and routed for easy install. I am attaching some photographic evidence. Not a great picture, but my camera is at work. This harness will be coming back apart for the jig/template for the production harnesses starting tomorrow.
You can see the connector that attaches to the new switch, as well as the power feed for the LED towards the bottom of the picture, it then connects to the plug for the wiper, a ground terminal which attaches at the climate vacuum solenoids, the green wire is for the "bonus" button so is left long and unterminated, and then it routes over to the 529 and 530 modules, and out the factory connectors.
The power is sourced from the connectors themselves, and the high-current ground is as well. The smaller ground wires that attach to the solenoid bus are for the pulsed output of the switch assembly and for the LED.
The 530t fits on the passenger side of the console where there is a gap large enough to just insert in the console. The 529t is now cleverly held in the dead space above the molded air-guide for the footwell vents on the passenger parcel shelf. This keeps both modules on the passenger side of the console where it is easier to work (no steering wheel in the way).
Thanks,
Hans

PCB's are in for the 90+ switches. Will be assembling them tomorrow. It will be a busy weekend, but I should have all the harnesses done to ship out first thing monday morning.
Thanks

Hans, take your time! Thanks to you and Paul for all the hard work on this. I am sure we will all find this device well worth the wait.

Probably so. I have always found that my switches are not the problem, rather it is that section of the console that starts breaking or sagging, thus hindering the operation of the switches. I have often thought of ways to reinforce that area and reduce my frustration. Paul and Hans' solution is much more elegant!

Brian, you can buy just the decals bro... Call Nicole at Hooked on Cars, she probably has them on hand! They are cheap too! Used them in my '81! Work great!
