For that price someone should jump on it just to have as a highly desireable spare. Great stroker or hybrid block.

Rob, or anyone for that matter, would this be a suitable block to bore out for a stroker.

Something like a GTS crank with 104mm bores and custom rods and pistons? It would eventually go into a GTS and have GTS accessories

Or is there something lacking in these S3 blocks that would prevent me from wanting to use it as the basis for a build like that?

Im thinking of just simply pulling the crank and the pistons and rods, holding onto the block for another time and then its light enough that i can actually move the damn thing around.

Thoughts?

BTW its no longer available for $250, I didnt want to deal with the hassle of moving it but thats been resolved now. But the crank and pistons and rods are available if you want to make an offer?

I think there are a lot of people that would say that it's perfect fodder for a stroker block. Isn't the lore that the S3 blocks have thicker cylinder wall castings?

Hell, I was tempted by it, I could turn down my GTS crank to Chevy rod dimensions and plop my GTS heads on it, get some of Colin's cams, and then stick it into a track car. Or something. But instead I put my fingers in my ears and said LALALALALA so I couldn't hear myself convincing myself.....
