To officially light a fire under myself to get this car roadworthy before the 1 year anniversary of its demise , I am going to be putting the stroker engine back into the GTS at my place on Sunday, April 11th. More details when we get closer to the date, just thought I'd throw it out there now.

I'm going to miss this by a week. I'll be back in Orange County the following weekend. But I don't want to miss out on helping.

So, Rob, I'll go ahead and come by and give it a rigorous shakedown run. Shouldn't take longer than the whole weekend.

The engine install like a good time and very informational for those of us who have never done it. Sorry I'll miss it.

Brendan- I should clarify- Jen bought 5 plane tickets to HI for spring break and I was supportive of that decision. I generously donated mine to the MIL who was willing to go along.

Matt- Give a shout if you're around on the 17th- Has your BIL taken the plunge on a car yet? He should come drive the GT. The GTS may still be here- after the engine's in the plan is to flatbed it up to Greg's and fire it up there, after he's idiotproofed my work. I'm a little nervous about the wiring in this car, between the mega stereo and the alarm with all its taps and hacks, I'd just as soon have some professional backup nearby during startup and initial tuning.

Hi Rob, I will try. We will be in town to celebrate my son's 8th birthday with family, so I doubt I can get away.

My brother-in-law's plans were nipped in the bud by my sister who is more concerned with paying for college for four kids than Chip's happiness. We're laying low right now and waiting for an opening right now.
