I replaced rear hatch glass ,windshield, rear quarter glass, and door glass in the Stepson and it wasn't all that hard. The previous owner's stepson got mad at him and took a 9 iron to all the glass hence the name "Stepson". If I was doing it all again, I should have let the glass pro that put in the new windshield put in the hatch glass at the same time on the Stepson. It's not that big a deal, but the sealant they use is much easier to work with. The spacers for the rear hatch just center the glass in the opening (again, no big deal)

PM Blackshark on this forum. He should have all the glass you'll need.

I feel your pain. Terrible!

Something similar happened to me many years ago when someone smashed the rear window of my 89 Ford Probe. They wanted 1300 to replace the window, but in the end I found one for about half. My deductible at the time was $1k. Ouch!

I hope you can get everything fixed and replaced quickly.

So unnecessary to break every window. Hack job if I've ever seen one. Sorry to see this has happened to you.

Sean, sorry to hear about this. I too replaced my rear hatch glass myself. Not a big job at all. 928 Intl will have all the glass and they are just up the road from you. Good luck with the insurance co.

Yup, still in the box from the guy who sent it to me. I will bring it back from the house when I go up there and mail it to you directly.

P.S. Still have one H5 for you too.

I have two sets of door windows, and only need one set. Do you need the second set?

I also have a hatch glass that is unused, but may not have working defroster wires

And I have one quarter window that I will not need.

San Diego doesn't so much have "crime" as it has "socio-economic anger" at night in some areas. IT may have been to steal, but it was more "thats a nice car, I'd rather destroy it"

I was looking at your avatar. Be thankful they didn't get into your engine compartment and throw dirt on your intake or anything like that. Sheesh! Looks like a really nice car.

Sad to see the pics of your car Sean..... Parking outside of such a nice car has alot of risks, however as you have mentioned options are limited in your living situation. Best of luck to you.....

Insurance in CA is required to 'make you whole' at whatever the market charges for your loss. You have many avenues of complaint in CA if they don't.

Sorry about your loss, stuff can be replaced.

that sucks! Ive been there! I was waterskiing at the delta and left the car on a river bank. came back, saw my car with all the windows busted, they got some 50 dollar sub woofer, a cheap stereo and some tools. what a mess the glass was. I just dont get people sometimes! you should be able to shoot someone doing that though.
