I've had so many burns, scrapes, cuts and gashes over the years that I don't consider it noteworthy enough to stop and take pictures. I just take steps to keep the blood from getting everywhere and wrench on. No noteworthy ouches while working on the shark, just the usual sharp edges and hot surfaces stuff. Not that I haven't had my share doing other things...

Cut almost every appendage at least twice.

I think what hurts the most is the alternator falling on my forehead and glasses.

I would have guessed your worst injury involved a mountian lion gnawing on your foot while you were under the car.

Just pinched the nail on my ring finger this past weekend by doing something very simply; putting the wheel back on. Put my hand back there to line up the studs with the holes while pushing and it lined up right on my finger tip. Hurt Like Hell! Still can feel it today. Other than that assorted small scrapes and cuts. Have cut my finger so bad while working on my other car that I ended up going to the doctor after it got infected because I keep working on the car without cleaning it first.

Only if the 928 was a better ride, otherwise it may not have been worth it...

I was bleeding the clutch on my 944 and it looked wet on the rod for the slave, so I thought I would give it a quick wipe with my finger to see. I told my helper "hold it right there" to him that meant push the clutch down . the arm moved pass the hole and pulled my finger in and squeezed it between the cover and clutch arm. When I yelled he released the clutch. the arm came back and pealed the skin back up to my first knuckle. I had to push the end of my finger nail that you are not suppose to see back down and roll the skin back down over it. I used some gauze and tape to hold it together. The best part was with all the tape on it I couldn't bend it. so when I went to go pick my kid up a few minutes later as I closed the door to the house with that hand my finger was sticking out and I slammed it in the door

Hacker, that is the damned funniest avatar I've ever seen.

Rubbing polish off my chromed sewer lids, I had a chuck of chrome about 3/4" long and 1/4" wide embed down along the side of my finger. I was in shock when I saw it, with just the very tip sticking out. I knew I had to do something quick before I started thinking about it. I ran into the garage, grabbed the vice grips, clamped the exposed end, and like King Arthur removing the sword from the stone I extracted the chrome slice out of my finger. I just about fell over when I saw the size of the thing. Harsh! No more chrome wheels for me - ever!
