Worst injuries sustained while working on 928?

Working over the drivers side fender reaching down to loosen the bolt on the power steering pump or alternator...
Wrench slipped off... I fell back a bit and ran the inside of my arm up against the edge of the fender. Looked down at the fender edge and saw "shaving" of skin on it.... and then looked at my arm...
Still have scars ...

Ego, for sure. These cars can humble even the most stallwart types.
Other than that, if your knuckles aren't bleeding after replacing the engine bay fuel lines in an OB, you did it wrong!

I bought my 928 in late 2000. I damn near claimed bankruptcy in early 2003. The 928 was partially to blame (hangs head in shame), similar to a piece of straw on some goddamn camel.
But then a friend of mine told me that if you go bankrupt over $100K, you'll be viewed as a failure. But, if you go out for $1 million or more, you'd be seen as a success!!!
Not sure that counts as an injury. Hey, whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, eh?

Oh, I forgot to mention the injury sustained to my wife's (previously) favorable opinion of me.
That definitely counts!

Hmmm, dropped PP on my face, hurt but didn't do any real damage.
I think Ali in Arlington has the winner on this one. He got ran over a bit on the trailer while loading. Various cuts, bumps, bruises, and sprains.

Trying to undo my oil cooler lines at the radiator I managed to sock myself in the eye when the nut let go. Wearing latex gloves added a little extra as it caught my eye lid to boot.
I also got got my Kaptain Kewlant badge by getting sprayed by coolant: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...hlight=Kewlant
The injury was more mental than physical

I had removed the bottom bolts holding the MM and so because I was having serious problems trying to get the cross member out, I made a seriously hard jerk to get it off and it did but threw the rt MM straight in my face. 2 or 3 cuts and bruises on my nose and swollen eye lid. Had to go to work the next day as well and had to bear all the "next time try and duck" jokes.
