There's a beer store on 19E just outside of Banner Elk that we visited a few years back. We got a 12 of Heiniken (Z's fav.) and a 12 of something else - forget what but it was a slightly different price. When we went to the counter the guy looked up at us. Actually, I really couldn't tell if he was looking at me or Murphy becasue one eye was on me and one was on Murphy.

Then the guy scratched his head started to hatch a thought, then scratched his head again. It was clear he was troubled trying to figure out how much to charge us. Finally when we had all but lost hope he said, "Well... I gis I'll just charge ya fer a case!" Of course it was for the cheaper stuff. My guess is that Heiniken had been there for about 2 years.

Banjo music was not present, but should have been.

I wish. I have two graduation parties to go to this Saturday. Couldn't get out of them. Really bummed as I wanted to see the new venue. Right now I don't have a shark in the tank, but am actively looking for a 5 speed.

Car's mostly packed. I sure hope Tony packs light, I didn't install the roof rack carrier for his luggage.

Wheels up in 16 hours. Should put us in Alcoa around 6PM.
