I. About 928 Specialists
A. What a 928 is, how you help the 928 community, how long have we been around
B. What drew us to this part of North Carolina
C. The types of customers you have

II. About the event
A. Background to the event (don't say anything bad about GF Mtn)
B. Move to Beech Mountain
C. How supportive the Beech Mountain people have been - This is where you name names! VERY IMPORTANT!
D. Estimated economic impact on the region - 100 cars, 150 people, selling out the Best Western, etc.

That's probably too much right there. Keep it short and punchy. The part about the economic impact will probably make the sound bite and win over the NIMBY's (Not In My Back Yard).

BTW, I like the idea of Jeannie doing it. She's a hell of a lot more attractive than you, sorry.
Amen.

More than all of us actually.

Randy,

Think the wooden ones would look OK on TV?

OH more importantly... only 3 Rooms left!!!
Don't think about the camera or the audience. Just have a conversation with the interviewer and stay on topic. No side stories or anything like that. You'll do fine.

Unfortunately I was over-optimistic.

I've just canceled my room reservation.

I know you all will have fun.

I agree with what LamaBoy wrote. Do not feel compelled to answer the question the interviewer asks you. Give them the answer to the question you wanted them to ask you.

Think about the worst possible questions you could be asked and come up with (non-)answers that get your message across.

For instance, anticipate butt-headed questions like:
"Isn't it dangerous to have this many high-powered exotic cars driving up and down our narrow roads at illegally-fast speeds?"

"So, how many tickets does your group rack up on a weekend of joyriding like this?"

You probably won't get asked questions like that, but if you are prepared for them the actual questions will be a breeze.

Sample answers to the above: Ummm..... I can't think of any. If I could, I'd run for office. Sorry.

This is so true, and so hard to learn... A good segue is to respond to any question with "I am SO glad you asked that question, ..." and then launch into some other topic entirely.

We're trained from birth to answer questions, but it is not at all necessary

P.S. Dave, the passenger seat in a 928 is actually quite roomy, just get someone else to drive your car!!
