After I finish my final exams tomorrow, my father and me are starting the great pilgrimage to SITM. We're hoping to arrive by 3:00 if everything goes well.

I'm leaving DC area after a day of work...leaving a couple hours before rush hour sets in....will be there..very...late. Or possibly early-- on Sat.. Anyone on similar itinerary, drop a line. Caveat though- I'm having to take the GTO in lieu of the 928 (which is in Mass).

In Greensboro now... Will drive-up the mountains after I got some much needed sleep.

This was a crazy trip - Oakland, Denver, Washington DC, Greensboro. The last flight was delayed by 2.5 hours due to bad weather. Getting to Stuttgart, Germany, would have been faster...

That sucks!!! Lorelei asked about 30 minutes ago if you were going to be there. Any chance for a Road America trip for you this year?

Travel update from the beer wagon.

We are about 1.5 hours behind schedule. Picked the wrong way to come into Milwaukee and the wrong route through Chicago. And my new iPass is too new for "out of state" tolls (purchased in Illinois, had issues at the three tolls in Indiana).
How fun to be at a person-less toll, gate closed......arguing with someone over a speaker.

Now just past Lebenon, more construction, cops with two semi's pulled over etc..... AAHHHHHH damn beer is in the trunk!!!!

Anyway. About an hour ago Tim Murphy calls and says: "Jeanie is on the phone with Andrew, the hotel said you canceled the room"
Called the BW - no problem, just more excitement to break up the Indiana scenery

Not sure yet how far we will go tonight, so far the coffee is hot and the donuts are fresh (well, fresh enough).

3G over Verison to my laptop works quite well.
