Guess I should post an update.

The 81 fired up on Sunday!!!
How is this for a combination:

1. 100% stock 81 US long block with 100,000+ miles (odo stopped at 98k little while ago)
2. 1985 EuroS LH/EZK brains
3. 1985 EuroS Intake / TB
3. 42lb injectors
4. LH chip from Shane Elliot's Murf Stage III SharkTuned 1986.5

Fired up and idled smooth as a kitten (well, after I plugged in the temp sensor. Funny, it ran kind of rich with that disconnected).

No test drive, coil and ignition wires still in rough form. Need to clean that up then start waking up the neighborhood.

Another 5-6 boxes of stuff showing up today that should be all I need to button up this project, then off to the dyno.

#1 downside is I do not forsee time to put my A/C back together. Hope a cold front comes through......

Hacker-

That's so cool. I heard the dyno number could be as high as... well I don't want to steal your thunder. Pure awesomeness!

I honestly do not think the numbers will be much (if any) higher without a head / cam change.
Sure from 5k - 6k we should see improvements but that is only becuase the stock fuel / ignition system maxed out just over 5k.

Luke is under the orders to spin this sucker until the valves start to lift
Or a rod comes out the side
Whichever comes first

I forsee Lorelei behind the wheel from Indy to Lexington as I'm tuning the cruise map: "Ok honey, your going to coast for a while as I move the SharkTuner from the LH to the EZK brain, ok?

Don't worry, that Dorothy costume you were talking about before is ready to go, but I'm having trouble finding ruby slippers in your size.

And Kurt does, in fact, have the coolest man cave I've ever seen!

Nevermind the slippers... there's no place like SITM, there's no place like SITM, there's no place like SITM!

So, Andrew will be in a Dorothy costume after all.
Katie, I am sure Andrew has his own size 13 ruby slippers.

This will be my first SIM - what's the dress atire for the dinner? My female friend is asking. I don't want to get slapped for a second time that weekend (She thinks we're all driving to a consignment mall on Sunday - wait until she learns its a parts factory

Except for Andrew in his dress with ruby slippers, most will probably be wearing fairly casual cloths. Just keep in mind this is in the mountains and could get a little chilly. Last year of guy resorted to wearing a bedspread to keep warm.

Don't forget sunscreen. MANY many people have been burnt by the elevation in years past.

A previous 928 event T-shirt is recommended. And some pants.

Blanket is optional but it will probvably be warm enough inside for dinner.
