We are working on that. Just havn`t figured out how to get the wall up along the west bank of the Colorado River Seems like the pollution comes from west of here. must be the prevaling winds....

Let's see, a supercharged 928 in a smog-check free area?
Might we be a wee bit jealous?

We don't have smog checks in Iowa, of course we don't have people either. Just cows and corn. Lots of both.
Also I know more about nothing than any of you. I know so much about nothing I don't even know what I don't know about.

You got cows and corn, we got coyotes and rocks. Lots of both with some jackrabbits and rattle snakes thrown in for good measure. But we also have some wide open roads. The nearest town of any consequence is 130 miles south of here across nothing but desert and Indian reservation. The 928 is the perfect ride for this part of the country.

I take it your A/C works.

Ain't nothin but rocks and thorns here.

As for MY A/C, I just take the swamp cooler approach.

Yes, that's it...jealous. The last supercharged car I worked on had the crankcase breather venting directly to the atmosphere, which hasn't been legal since about 1957! I'm jealous that there are people building cars that have more emissions than any 1970 mussel car ever built!

It just seems that we should have come to the point, in time, where this kind of pollution shouldn't be tolerated.

"Smog-check free area" is the kind of thinking that causes the problems. There is no provision in the laws to de-federalise any motor vehicle. There will come a day where the government gathers all the information on the people that are providing this type of modification and "visits" all the people that have done it.

The government has done it before...and they will do it again...especially as it gets harder and harder for all the government agencies to "justify" their existence. The fines, however, are clear...$5,000 dollars per day...for everyone involved.

If you are making and selling this kind of polluting supercharger stuff...make sure that you are saving up $5,000 dollars per day...to pay your fines!

Figure that into your profit margin!

Performance and the environment can actually go hand in hand. I build high performance engines...that have way less emissions than the vehicle had before I touched it. That's performance!

Greg do you just go from post to post looking to **** in everyones Cheerios? I`m glad you are doing your part for the environment. Last time I was in Anaheim I could hardly see from the pollution. I will await my visit from the Government.

Is that why your stroker engines cost so much? Because you build in the cost of the fines if you get caught? I mean those stroker engines of yours, that you install into street cars, violate a whole list of both State and Federal emissions laws. Once again, the hypocracy speaks volumes.

Not pissing, at all.

Just stating facts. You can't have a vehicle that wouldn't pass 1958 smog laws and expect to get away with it...no matter where you live. That time has come and gone.

I'd worry more about the methane from the cows before I'd worry about a supercharged 928 lol

Really.

Could you be specific?
