Here is EURO85 with the lighted sill plate installed (on the drivers side so far)...man I love it! Just need to move the steering wheel over from the S4 to this car and paint the front bumper cover and hood (big scratch in both) and this bad boy will be one of the nicest 928s in my garage...heck it is already pretty damn amazing! I also installed the climate temp sensor cap from Nicole in the car. Someone had chewed up the stock one and they are kind of a PITA to deal with, so Nicole has this nice aluminum cap that looks PERFECT in the car. The thing is just amazing.

Hope you guys have enjoyed this save as much as I have enjoyed making it happen!

The red interior bits really add a lot of pop to the look. It gets better and better every post.

Thanks Bob! You found me a nice bit of kit to start with! I am just doing the enhancing and bringing it back to life. BTW, it really seemed to be running quite well the last time I had it out. It just needed some correct tuning and then to be RUN a bit!

Here are two shots of the temp sensor cover from Nicole. You can also see the awesome Can-Can Red Carpets from 928 Specialists too.

So I was out in EURO85 again tonight. As usual this car is like a crime scene...EVERYONE stops to look! Craziest damn thing! Hell, most folks probably think it is a new car...they would freak if I told them the "85" in the license plate actually stands for 1985 model year! Two 17 or 18 year old hotties had to even take their pic with the car they loved it so much! Couldn't have cared less about the C5 and C6 Vette's parked close by but the old Porsche...YEA BABY!

Runs better and better the more I drive it too! NICE! The seat belt is almost retracting the whole way now on the drivers side, the car is running faster and stronger at all RPM's...it just needed to be driven!

Dwayne, you are quite right and NONE of mine turn heads like EURO85! Well, I take that back, I think BLUE82 does, but it goes out SO RARELY that I don't get to see folks react to it much. I think it really is almost more about color than anything else and then when the color grabs them the condition of the car will KEEP THEM...while EURO85 is certainly NOTHING like BLUE82, it is VERY eye catching and still nicer than the cars most people drive!

Thanks for the kudos Dwayne...most appreciated! When you coming to TX again?!

No firm plans yet for visiting the great state of Texas. I hoped to make a cross country trip sometime this summer but I'm up to my eyeballs in 928 maintenance so it looks like I won't be passing through until next year. It would be great to see you and your 928s when I come through Texas - maybe I can time it to catch a 928 event.

Dwayne, you are welcome at my place ANY TIME my friend! You come down to see me whenever you like, 928 function or not! We will put you up here at Chez Morrison and take you to have some of the best BBQ you have ever put in your mouth! Hell, I'll let you drive one of the 928's even...probably several of them actually! Does not look like you have added a GTS to your impressive collection yet, so maybe you would want to drive one of those!

James,
Just read through here a little. Great car of course. Those red mats look awesome. It's living a dream life now. Kind of reminds me of the pound puppy that goes home to Oprah.

Really funny about the Land Cruiser light. I've owned a couple FJ40's I'm suprised I missed that.
