James, I'm not sure if I gave you that 13psi pulley, but if I did be careful using it if you aren't sure how to tune or what to install for tuning. It will turn that car into scrap quick brother.

If I were in you shoes, I wouldn't even think putting the high boost pulley on. You got it running, no need to test your luck any further, let the new owner deal with that.

Running car can easily be sold... Good job.
+1 on not pushing the boost etc. In your position get it sold... You can always use the possibility of adding boost as a sales point to a prospective buyer!

The job market/economy (comparatively) is strong here in Baton Rouge. Willing to taxi and house any of you who want to come for interviews etc. Also have many good contacts for rental/permanent housing. Having been around the block Louisiana has great people, food and culture, barring the odd storm the weather is good too!

I'm really glad to hear that you sorted it out. Might want now to ask a moderator to close this topic and start a new sale thread, stating that the car is now running well, adding clear pictures after you sort out some minor cosmetic details aso.

As everyone else told you already, forget about high boost. Really no need to take chances, unless you have second thoughts about selling the car .

James,

Congrats!! Now get that sucker all cleaned up and affix all the removed panels, take some nice pics and get it on Ebay and/or other places to sell it ASAP.

Best of luck!

From my earlier post...

The STOCK GTS engine has problems with detonation well documented. Highly unlikely that it would survive 13 lbs of boost....

So this car was running fine... and then BOOM?

Was that with the 13 PSI pulley?
