89 GT on DC CL...$1000.00

Hate to see it get parted, but the chances of it ever becoming a true GT again and slim. Esp. considering the salvage title. Based on what your said, I would have bought it to for parts too.
You asked who needs parts, so... I'll wait until you start a proper FS thread when you're ready.
Were you already on this or did this RL thread tip you off?

Whether it ends up as a parts car or a revived 'GT', it's now in good hands. I wish you luck w/this, Kevin.
What kills me is that this would have been the perfect donor for the front-end 'totaled' '89 GT a few years back (thread). You remember that one. Take a look at Chuck Z's post #28 for pics.
35k & mint until the front-end hit. Possible frame tweak, engine likely fine; trans. fine; everything windshield back unaffected. Just in need of a front end. Ended up going to a dismantler in PA for $4k
Gio..you mentioned Linen seats...this black '89 GT had a perfect Linen interior.
Sometimes the stars just don't align....

Hello Kevin-
I really envy your find. Sometimes you just have to be at the right place at the right time.
Anyway, I have a 91GT motor from an 81K car. I want $5,500 for it.
It comes with ALL accessories (one a/c hose was pirated). I also have a Devek radiator, twin fans with shroud, oil cooler, belhousing with clutch and pressure plate, factory exhaust, plus Motorsports x-pipe and RMB, Motorsports springs and a bunch of other take offs.
I'm keeping a lot it for another car I'm building, but will let most anything go for the right price.
(NEW INFO): The additional parts will only be sold after the engine is sold.
Good luck with whatever you do with the car.

The engine stamp says m28/47 the last 4 of the vin is 1217. It carries the correct GT option codes for the lsd, the suspension and the Gt denotation. I had it all written down at the shop, but I am home now and don't feel like running back out. The engine is missing the p-side head, but oddly enough the cams are sitting in the V under all the accessories that were removed. So I have all 4 GT cams as far as the #'s on them go.

I would say so JP. Now what to do with it? I am torn whether to sell it or part it. It's a low mile car and the first one Ive seen in sometime with such a perfect interior. The purchase end was horrible though man. The guy said I was the first in line but then proceeds to make me negotiate with the 2nd 3rd and 4th guy in line later on. I played along till 1400.00 and then I said he should honor his advertisement and do the right thing and he came around. What do you think I should do with this thing?
