Actually I have 1400.00 in the car and 300.00 in the rollback from VA. to PA. Good profit no argument, but the 8-10 g's I could make parting her would be sweeter still!

Kooky how the costs of various parts make a decision on which way to go so hard with this car.

Wouldn't this car part out about the same as a S4? Like Gio just did.?

Someone please save this rare beauty!
I am fixing up another 89 GT back in Sweden.
These cars to me are second only to the CS and perhaps the GTS manual.
Incidentally I have the original 220 tranny in mine, but a S4 engine.
I finally managed to get a GT engine from England and I plan to get it back to original spec by next summer. Mine is also black on black with sunroof.
Also have the 474 option.
These cars even stock embarass many new sports cars...

I will trade you two basket case five speeds, Anthony Quinn's t-shirt and a hill of magic beans for it.

Not Quite. The wheels alone on this ol girl ,buffed out and in nice cond. are worth up to 2g's. Try that with the flats on the S4. The cams and the intake and other things too numerous to mention add to the value. Oh the euro GTS rear cover should bring some nice jingle as well. Not hit anywhere and the rear org. cover was harvested for a wrecked S4 from what I was told. mainly the value is historical and basically has a very rare VIN plate is what it all boils down to. Anyone with a GT and the spare money should buy this as it would be invaluable in case something would happen to their's.

Do these beans grow vines into the sky, or just add rainbow colors to your fart clouds?

There's big difference!!

True, there are guys on RL that could take that ravel of parts and have a running car in a month or two.

Btw, if anyone wants to restore this car I have heads, the fans, door locks, center console and some of the other interior parts that are missing.

The center console and armrest are in the car. The only thing in the interior that is missing is the door cards. Even has a nice rear cargo cover in there.

From the pics the center console above the electrical stitches looks damaged beyond repair.

Gio, that center console is PERFECT man. There was some of that insulation lying on it from the floor carpet that covers the computers. Even the decals on the switches look new.
