Dean I will try to get pics up on here soon man. It's getting very busy here now, got Champagnes car in the booth, Iccy 928"s(Bill) track car in the build room with the 959 clone, and Gary K. just brought the GTS, in for his work Tuesday, plus the regular customers. Working till 9-10 everynight and getting burned out brother! I would love the GT to be in your hands ,man.

Thanks for working up a sell price. I know you are a busy guy. To not pummle you with questions, I'll recap what we know from your posts in this thread:
Here's the deal. It was a recovered theft and it has a salvage title.
...The thieves ran it through the woods to hide it but it is alright shape.
Has a good black interior and a near perfect dash and pod.
The trans. is missing everything else is ok.
Apparently the thieves blew the engine but it was never checked out.
...It is indeed a real GT.
...The engine stamp says m28/47 the last 4 of the vin is 1217...
...It is a black on black car...
... this engine, it is less the pass side head (MIA)...
...the cams are sitting in the V under all the accessories that were removed. So I have all 4 GT cams as far as the #'s on them go...
...It's got a good engine... just needs the valve work done.
... I have the cams and the bearing caps, valves and related...
...The wheels are the correct 9's and 8's with the 60mm...

Is the original paint salvagable?
Have you had a chance to pull the other head spin the short block?
Any damage to the 4 cams found in the V?
Is there oil in the pan/filter?
No big rush to answer. Thanks.

Yes. When we bought our house and started painting, I bought Behr for the first couple of rooms. After some morning-coffee-group discussion at work, I decided to try Sherwin Williams for the next room. After one swipe of the roller, I vowed never to go back. It goes on easier and covers better. And only having to do 2 coats vs 3 coats is worth an extra $10 or $20 per gallon in my book.

I've expressed interest too. Is there any way you can answer these questions.
If you need clarification on the paint question, let me know. Thanks.
