I know it's not any of my business but... why are you selling it after only 100 miles of driving it?

Hmmm, and..... This is why I was worried about asking such a low price. I just had the conversation with a well respected if not "controversial" forum member recently and he suggested I ask a lot more to avoid people wondering if it was a scam or a lemon.
No, it's just a great deal for someone...

Must resist - must resist (keep repeating until someone else beats me to this killer deal).

Interior looks new.
I respectfully disagree. The seat leather has shrunk and is tight, the creases in the cushions are gone. The passenger seat looks like it has several tears or scars thru the color, there are numerous cracks in the dash, there are holes in the console storage compartment door and the console itself has the typical shrinkage and curling of the outer cover. It's not bad for an 89, but far from "looks new."

Where are pictures of the engine?

Your right, your right. I'm wrong on that one. I guess I was comparing this other 20 year old junkers out there? Hmmmm how can I rephrase that...
It looks "newer" than most 20 year old cars!

Thanks Jim for helping me to avoid some serious frustrations later possibly!

Was the flex plate released and crank end play checked when the other engine work was done?

Thanks for reminding me!

Flex plate has been done, but I failed to check end play.

Damn!! That is a good price. Hell, all it needs cosmetically is some intereior work. If it runs good and has the usual 928 nickel and dime problems it will indeed be a nice deal for someone.

One hell of a lot better than starting out with an $11k S4 like I did and doing it all anyway.

That was a very nice comment David. I was thinking the same about the "do it all anyways" even if you buy a more expensive car...

Currently "saving " is the national passtime with one in ten out of work buying toys requires that you have very positive outlook..... or your head in the sand.
